• A great way to spend a lazy afternoon on the water.

  The parking tips saved us from missing the boat as parking downtown Kingston is difficult. We found the ticket office easily and although we were near the back of the line to board, our lunch tickets meant that we had a prefered table on the second deck by a window. Because the cruise wasn't full, we had the table to ourselves which was a bonus, and the atmosphere was more upscale and elegant than we'd anticipated. We very much enjoyed the 3 hour cruise itself as we haven't been in this area before and it's truly amazing to see all the little and large houses on almost every island, no matter how small. The tour guide was very informative and had information that answered almost all our questions before we asked, and answers for when we did ask. The serving staff were friendly, quick and efficient. The meal was very tasty and the wine selection was excellent. Our only complaint was that we'd added on a bruschetta and it arrived with our entries, following the bread and salad. The bruschetta should have been served before the entrees. We'd recommend this cruise as a great way to spend a lazy afternoon on the water enjoying a good meal and beautiful scenery.

  Ask for a table away from the speakers if you can. When the music plays, the sound is way too loud. You have to yell to speak to someone else. The food was good, but if I did a Thousand Island Excursion again, I would skip the lunch. It was still a very enjoyable experience. The boat itself (Mississippi type of boat) was very special. I would recommend the tour.

  The ship was very appealing, in the style of a Mississippi steamboat. Appropriately, live jazz music was played. The live commentary from Donna was very interesting. The scenery was spectacular. The food was very good and the service was very attentive.

  We had a wonderful boat trip. The food was very good, and our guide had lots of interesting things to say about the individual islands and the houses. We spent a relaxing time on the sun deck in glorious sunshine. Our server, Angie, was very attentive and took excellent care of us the whole time. I highly recommend this lunchtime cruise

  Lovely trip to explore the thousands islands , our tour guide was very good and delivered information in a good format, easy to hear and appreciate. We opted for the 3 course lunch , food was really good and staff were friendly and efficient. A lovely way to explore this beautiful location

  Everything was to satisfaction except, breakfast was not included. We asked for waterfront veiw and ground floor due to broken foot. Everything was accessible accept the wheelchair elevator in the evening to the pool ( 2nd floor) then needed to decend stairs with a PSW to get to the pool. Other than that it was lovely.

  A very well organized, informative & scenic cruise serving a delicious meal. Outstanding service! Unfortunately, at no fault of the cruise company, we shared the cruise with a group of conference people who dominated, were very loud and showed little regard for the other guests who could not hear the tour guide. You have the option of sitting inside or outside on the top deck. All of staff were exemplary. Would recommend this cruise to anyone visiting the Kingston area.....just pray that you don't share it with a conference. The lunch was superb and so delicious......several choices.

  Okay, we had bad luck and received one of the worst seats for the booked meal - at the front of the center aisle, where the service constantly passes by, and we got our food last. Since my daughter is a vegetarian, she ordered stuffed bell peppers as her main course from three options. Just before we were served, unfortunately, the vegetarian dish was out.
