We will reach Kargil in the afternoon. The second largest city in Ladakh, it was the site of the Kargil war back in 1999. After checking in at our hotel rooms, we will relax before heading out for a local tour.

5.00The Srinagar to Leh road trip was an incredible experience. The route is filled with breathtaking landscapes, but it’s not without its challenges—rough patches and high altitudes can make it tough. Staying with a group made it easier, with good support from the team. The highlights were definitely Zojila Pass and Pangong Lake, and Leh itself was a great final stop. It’s a tough but rewarding journey—would definitely recommend it for anyone craving adventure.
