Protected areas are located between the two main rivers of Kakheti, Iori, and Alazani, including a state reserve, natural monuments, and a national park. The park area is rich in relict, endemic and rare flora and fauna species. The area is home to 62 species of mammals and 135 species of birds.

Vashlovani National Park
200 km drive from Tbilisi, the last 20 km of the road passes through Shirak-Eldar fields. Exercise will take about 15-20 minutes before the start of the tour. The first-day route runs through the winter pastures of Shiraki and ends with beautiful views of Vashlovani National Park. We will stay in tents for the night.

The next day's route continues to the Shirak fields, on the way we will meet shepherds' huts, and wheat and barley fields. Ride up on the ridge with spectacular views of Vashlovani National Park. At the end of the day, we will take the horses to their pastures and return to Tbilisi. During the tour, we will have a car that, in addition to carrying the necessary items, will also serve tired riders.

5.00The 2-day tour in Vashlovani felt like stepping into the Wild West. We spent the night in tents — it was a bit cold, but still incredibly cozy and enjoyable. In the evening, we gathered around the campfire, shared food, talked, and just enjoyed the moment together. The nature was stunning and truly wild, with beautiful views and wide open landscapes. It’s a perfect place for those who love fast walking, hiking, and feeling free in nature. The open fields and untouched scenery make the experience feel very raw and authentic. Our guide spoke English very well and was extremely kind and supportive throughout the trip. Everything was well organized, and the whole experience felt adventurous, warm, and memorable. Highly recommended for nature lovers and anyone looking for something different and exciting.
