Chongqing

We pick up our travelers at their hotel then get started from downtown Chongqing. That will be a 3 hours driving, we'll take a simple quick lunch in a highway rest area for better timimg. We'll pull over in highway rest area couple of times for rests and lunch till we get to our destination-Dongchuan, an incredible land covered with vast red soil.

Wulong Tiankeng Three Bridges

Then move to Tiankeng(A giant sinkhole,also named the natural triple bridge), the primary sector of Wulong Karst Geological National Park. It's actually a grand valley throughs 3 ridges with naturaly formed sink holes, look just like 3 huge bridges. It's also the only site listed on World Heritage List by UNESCO. We firstly will take an 80 meters high cliff side viewing elevator to get down to the bottom Then we take a hiking tour through the giant sinkhole links all scenic spots including movie scenes of Transformer IV. The highlight is unique and magnificent natural landscape. The hiking takes approximately 2 hours, moderate intensity.

Dazu County

After we finished the excursion we take another shuttle bus ride get back to turist center, take our own car and get back to downtown Chongqing, another 200 km/3 hours ride home. we'll deliver our clients back to their hotel.

The Dazu Rock Carvings

We'll get started from downtown at 0830am, after 1.5 hour ride will arrive at our first destination-Beishan(North Mountain) carvings. It's the oldest carvings site still miraculously well preserved in Dazu after thousand years of wars and destructive activities. Hidden in a pastroal forest nearby downtown Dazu, peaceful, historic and idyllic, will be a quiet excursion without crowds cos most big groups won't be here for higher travel agent budget which will make their quote not goodlooking and most guides were not trained for this site. Then we'll show our clients another exclusive site-a pair of twin giant Buddha statues and an ancient Pagoda adjacent to Beishan, 900 years old but super well preserved. We'll explore around,learn the history and enjoy lovely country fresh air.

The Dazu Rock Carvings

It's now time for lunch, we'll take some fresh and unique country lunch in a local village restaurant, not super fancy cuisine but tasty and fresh. There's an option for the afternoon, our travellers might also pick up Beishan Carvings if you want to see more of them. If so we recommend our travellers to purchase a combined ticket covering both Baoding and Beishan in the first place. Our transportation and guiding service will be free for this option.

Baoding Mountain Carved Stone

After lunch we;ll get to Baoding Ancient Rock Carvings, the largest ancient carving site in Dazu, also the best part of it. The history of Baoding carvings dates back 900 years ago, it's the largest and best preserved ancient stone sculptures and the most well-known Buddhism holy site in southern China. In 1999, Baoding Carvings was inscribed on the World Heritage List by UNESCO. Those statues were engraved on cliff side to facilitate displaying and being worshiped. It iconically and aesthetically pretty much represents the outstanding ancient Chinese artistic and sculpture craftsmanship achievements. We'll do an immersive learning tour inside with our private guiding service. The excursion takes 2 hours inside. All travellers need to transfer to the interal shuttle bus and golf car which is mandatory in order to “cultural relics preservation” purpose. A combined ticket covers both Beishan and Baoding goes to 150yuan per adult.

Jiefangbei Square

Then we drive all the way back to downtown Chongqing, we'll deliver our travellers to their hotels or any specified location in downtown. This ride will be 90 minutes, 100km.
