Perfect for extended weekend adventures, a 3-day 4×4 tour K’gari package is ideally suited if you want a few days of fun adventures in different settings, including the bush, beaches, lakes, and rainforests. While traversing the island, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to document the unforgettable moments of your trip for posterity by taking Instagram-worthy photos while walking in the rainforest at Pile Valley or swimming in Champagne Pools or discovering K’gari and the shipwreck Maheno. Whether it’s taking a night walk and gazing at the amazing stars, waking up to a perfect sunrise or spotting a family of dingoes in the wild, your sense of adventure is sure to be satisfied during your tour.

Walk under the rainforest at Pile Valley, the heart of Fraser Island, 4WD on 75 Mile Beach to Indian Head, Float in the sparkling waters at Champagne Pools, Swim, splash or take a tube ride at Eli Creek, Take photos at The Maheno Shipwreck and coloured sands, Adventure along 4WD tracks to the secret Lake Allom and swim with the turtles, Relax, play and swim at the beautiful blue Lake Birrabeen, Relaxed, friendly and loads of fun! Beach access: relax in the pristine water and white sands, play a game of beach volleyball, enjoy a guided beach walk, wildlife spotting at night, and see the sun rise over the ocean in the morning! 5.00We had a great weekend with fraser dingoes. Bob was a brilliant guide, with his local knowledge and he made it a fun experience. Driving the 4x4 was great fun. The island is really pretty. The house was comfortable and we were glad we weren't camping when it rained 😂 I would highly recommend this trip. My tip would be to take plenty of snacks!

4.00We had so much fun on our 3 day tagalong tour! The island is absolutely beautiful and our tour guide Bob took us to the iconic, well known spots as well as some hidden gems. Bob was friendly and very knowledgeable about the island and its history. The house we stayed in was clean, roomy and not far from the beach, making it easy to access for sunrise, sunset and dingo spotting. Driving the 4WD along the beach is an experience I’ll never forget! It can be scary at times when driving on dry sand but there is a full health and safety briefing given before setting off and nobody is pressured to drive if they don’t want to. A lot of laughs and memories made with the other guests on the trip, such a lovely group to share the experience with. The only thing stopping this review being 5 stars is that the food provided was pretty basic, and very small portions. However, that is to be expected when catering for such a large group of people. We were able to visit a shop for snacks and fruit/cereal bars were provided in between meals. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an adventure of a lifetime.

5.00Amazing experience. We spend 3 days with an incredible guide (Arty) full of information about the island and the local culture ! It was a small group, I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the driving and the accommodation ! Do it you will not regret it.

5.00We had a fantastic time on this tour and will our brilliant tour guide Bob who made sure we saw all the best sports on the island and ensured we didn’t miss a dingo sighting!! The trip is set up really well with plenty of driving opportunities if you want to. The sights are breathtaking and shouldn’t be missed. We’d really recommend this tour group and Bob!

5.00Oh where do I begin! I wish I could just relive this incredible experience all over again! K’gari is most definitely the highlight of our whole trip in Australia so far! This magical island captivated us with its beauty, history and wildlife! We were fortunate enough to have the awesome Arty as our tour guide, Arty is so passionate, informative and gets you involved with the culture of the island! He really gave us food for thought about the Butchulla people, the conservation of Dingos and preservation of the beautiful natural wonders we were immersed in during our 3 day stay on the Island. Stunning sunrises, eventful off-road driving in the jungle and along the beach then to top it off with a dip in the natural lakes! We were so lucky to have a fun group of like minded people who all got involved and engaged themselves into the full experience, which really completed this tour! I hope to do it all again one day!

3.00We hired the 1 night couples camper experience. The safety briefing and overall check in was great, we felt well informed and happy, minus the sales pitch of unnecessary items such as the wheel track and sleeping bags (don’t bother with either). Also adding on little things during the build up such as a 50 dollar permit didn’t make for the best build up. When we’d already paid an extortionate amount of money. The main reason we would never do this tour again was the vehicle not being fit for overnight camping. We got 2 hours of sleep max, due to the heat, lack of ventilation and overall inadequate sleeping conditions. Not having AC or being able to open the windows in the night due to flies made it completely insufferable during the night. We were both excited to camp overnight and other vehicles on the campsite were equipment to facilitate this, but you could tell the car hadn’t been thought out well enough. We had no GPS, Radio or AC so it felt like extortionate car hire rather than a fit for purpose overnight van hire. This review isn’t to put you off using the company, as I’m sure the group tour is great and doesn’t face the same issues, but I would have loved to seen a review on this prior to booking.

5.00We had such an amazing time on our tour. We like that it was a smallish group compared to other tours and mainly other young couples like ourselves. Arty was an absolutely incredible guide, we so valued all the extra information he gave us about the island and its history. The dorm rooms were comfortable and the showers good -much better than camping! The food prepared by volunteers was also good. We visited all the main stops and had a great time trying driving which was fairly shared between everyone who wanted to drive. Overall a great experience and I could see many benefits (better accom, really knowledgable guide, smaller group) over the other tours we saw around.
10/10 recommend!

5.00Honestly the best experience! I came on this trip on my own and came away with 20 new friends! Our tour guide Scott was incredible! It was well organised with delicious meals provided! The island itself was just beautiful with gorgeous lakes, beaches and wild life! 10/10 experience and would highly recommend!
