  • Trip of a life time!

What can I say?!! This was the most amazing tour of a lifetime! The places we went were all breathtaking and engaging. Especially with the Navaho guides who shared many of their personal stories that connected their culture to the land we were visiting. Our guide Aurora was the best you could ask for. She was knowledgeable about each of the unique places and treated us like family. My son is still talking about it. I will definitely be asking for her again! Looking at the winter Yellowstone trip next!!!

My entire experience from booking, interface with the tour company, and the actual tour was outstanding and if you enjoy getting a lot of bang for your buck, I highly recommended if you’re thinking about this type of vacation. I am a senior citizen and one of my bucket list items included a tour of the Grand Canyon. I couldn’t have been luckier booking a 3-day tour through Trip Advisor with Bindlestiff Tours. The tour included Zion and Bryce Canyon, Monument Valley and Grand Canyon. I was concerned that all the hiking around would be a little challenging but that was not the case for myself. The tour was packed with natural wonders to see everywhere. Our tour guide and van driver (Aurora) was extremely knowledgeable of the parks we visited, the cities we pasted through, and the customs/history of the Native Americans that lived throughout the areas we toured. Aurora’s narration while traveling to each area was very informative and loaded with facts. If one of the nine people in the tour group had a question, Aurora answered it or had a follow-up answer after the next break from travel. Aurora went out of her way to ensure everyone in the tour group had the best time possible. Aurora’s energy level and enthusiasm, demonstrated her love for the areas our group visited and the work she was doing.

  • The tour brought us to the designated locations as expected

Key comments on communication, organization, and planning: Day 1: Horseshoe bend is supposed to be scheduled on day 2(as written on website itinerary) but did on day 1 limiting time spent in Zion + Horseshoe bend should be visited in the morning to prevent sun drowning out views Tour guide comment: We were talking about not feeling well and he chose an unideal time to ask us to sign the waiver of liability form for sickness . This was insensitive Day 2: Tour guide (Paul) comment: Unnecessary long winded super emotional rant on climate change denial and politics when not even prompted leading to bad feelings before antelope canyon tour. No "touring" of monument valley just hyping up Navajo taco in Goulding's near Monument valley. No explanation of cultural and historical significance to Navajo. Only briefly mentioned filmmakers and shows shot here no history at all about Navajo When running late, guide asked us to use our personal phone to call the restaurant. He should at least have the ability to call locally and not ask guests to do his job. Day 3 Arriving in Vegas ahead of sched (6pm instead of 7/8pm) but gave us limited time in Grand Canyon General Comments Regarding our tour guide -Paul: +: enthusiastic, friendly gave or attempted commentary, on time, adjusted when member of our party was sick dropping her off in hotel and groceries etc. -: unnecessary emotional rants that are ideological and not related to the tour. Mentioned he was a 'pilot". How can we expect a tour guide to be like a pilot? The guide must give enough context on location and not just drive No guidance on key rules and overview of sched of the day. Only mentioning next stop on the way to actual next stop. If tours are listed on website please mention that these are self guided and that guide will only drive us to these locations

We are a well travelled couple and this was one of the best tours we have been fortunate enough to go on. Bindlestiff Tours team was great from enquiry to booking and then on the tour itself- magnificent. We opted for the hotel based version ad the hotels were great quality, well positioned hotels, the food was fantastic with well though out option for dietary restrictions- (I am vegan and my husband is dairy free). Meals were plentiful and healthy. Our tour guide was like a real life documentary- so incredibly knowledgable about the parks in all aspects- never a dull moment. Lots of laughs, and of course the parks were fantastic, awe inspiring. We had plenty of tie to explore at our own pace. Highly recommend this tour company and we have already booked our next adventure with them.

  • Overall a great experience

Overall the trip was great - a few surprises... First, the National Park entry fees were not included (every page and even the tour company I booked with says they are included). Just by chance I had my National Park pass with me, but I don't usually carry it. I would have been pretty upset to have to pay for something I had access to. The internationals on our trip got hit hard with that charge. The second surprise, is that there was virtually no access to vegan food - or should I say "healthy" vegan food. We are always prepared, so bring as much as we can without refrigeration. We made do with what was available, but we were definitely disappointed in the offerings. Positives: Not being joined at the hip as a group and plenty of time to enjoy hikes, some quiet time, and time to reflect. The hotels were great, and our guide Joe was a real treat. Optional excursions: Antelope Canyon (we did the lower canyon)...just do it! I've seen photos but they do not do this place justice. Absolutely incredible. Grand Canyon...helicopter was another excursion that if you can afford it, was worth the money. The birds eye view of the canyon was an experience all its own!

Excellent value for money. My daughter and I took a three day National Parks tour in September and my daughter accidentally left her phone in the hotel room. Without hesitation, the Bindlestiff Tours team located the phone and had it shipped to our next destination, certainly above and beyond which we really very much appreciated. Our group consisted of 13 people from all around the world and we got along well and our tour guide was amazing, so much fun! We learned a lot about the destinations we visited and had plenty of time to explore and enjoy the sites. We chose the hotel option but a lot of people on our trip were camping. We were able to join the campfire one evening which was a lovely experience under the stars and toast some smores! The parks themselves are gorgeous, absolutely stunning. We will be back for more tours with Bindlestiff and are already enlisting our friends for a private tour in 2026. Thank you for an amazing experience.

Fantastic tour of the National Parks! We are two couples who travel together every year and have been on several small group escorted tours over the years throughout the world. Bindlestiff Tours are among the best we've ever travelled with. Their attention to fine details is outstanding and their customer service team passionate and informative both pre-and post tour. Our guide was phenomenal - really informative and clearly very passionate about all the areas that we visited. We had a nice group of 12 guests all of which got along very well and we had a lot of laughs. Highly recommend this tour company for National Parks tours out of Vegas.

In terms what was covered in the tour and all the sites we had a chance to visit everything was great and the scenery was beautiful. However our tour guide was negligible for losing half our groups luggage and when it came to helping them they were left to their own devices despite the occurrence of the loss not being their fault.
