Let's draw a one-page comic together! In 3-hours Manga Workshop, a professional manga artist will teach you gently. You can take your drawing home as a souvenir. You can ask a lot of questions about the Japanese manga industry.

After drawing a rough sketch with a pencil, use a specialized tool to add ink! You can also learn how to draw effect lines if you have time.

We have samples for each level. Even beginners can enjoy the process of drawing manga useing the samples. Begginers are welcome!

What To Expect

We are going to hold a “3-hour manga workshop in Tokyo“ in the Kichijoji near the Ghibli Museum, Mitaka. A professional manga Artist will teach you. Let’s try to draw Japanese culture manga! We have all tools needed for the workshop so please just bring yourself. The workshop is conducted in Japanese. That being said, the class also has English on the slides during instruction. Please feel free to join us! ■3-hour manga workshop Contents ①Sketch on manga paper (A4 size) ➁Inking ③Painting black ④Those who finish early will be taught concentration lines, etc. --------------------------------- We also have another manga workshop "2-hour manga workshop". Participants will ink in a character on a manga paper. In addition to that, we will apply solid colors and simple screen tones. The workshop will be handled by the management staff. You can experience drawing manga at a more affordable price than courses taught by pro manga artist. ■2-hour Manga Workshop Contents ①Inking a pencil sketch already written. ➁Painting black. ③Draw speech bubbles and lines. ④If you have time, apply screen tones in one place of your choice.
