Private Group Tour in Northern Okinawa
SCUBA instructors and guides with years of experience will guide you to iconic dive sites in the northern parts of Okinawa - Minna Island and Sesoko Island.
The tour consists of 3 boat dives.Minna Island offers beautiful coral reefs and white sandy bottom, great visibility and a wide variety of marine life. Sesoko Island offers underwater landscapes - tunnels, caverns, and swim-throughs, and the sunlight shining through the cracks creates beautiful curtain of lights underwater.
【Local Fisherman's Lunch】
Between the 2nd and the 3rd dive, we head back to the local harbor for fisherman's lunch. Lunch can be selected from the restaurant's menu, ranging from simple soba (noodles) to fulfilling sashimi or Tonkatsu (pork cutlet) sets.
*Please note that the tour may not be private if single-person use. If 2 or more persons, the tour will be exclusive to your group.

What To Expect
English speaking guide will accommodate a thorough safety and preparation briefing prior to the dives. Meeting time is 7.15am at Ocean Lounge (or ～30min prior if hotel pick up), and end time will be around 3pm. The 3 dives will be conducted at different sites (weather permitting), and we will return to port or lunch between 2nd and 3rd dives. Lunch can be chosen from variety of local dishes, including sashimi and beef/pork. After lunch, we will head out for the final dive, and expect to return to Ocean Lounge around 2.30pm. Guests can freshen up using our shower/powder rooms, and are welcome to use our Ashiyu (traditional Japanese footbath) with a great view. Included in the tour are: lunch, full rental gear (excluding dive computer), towels, soft drinks, snacks, amenities (shampoo / body soap), and insurance. What to bring: swim wear (or something to wear underneath wetsuits), sandals, sun block.

5.00Absolutely amazing adventure. You get your own guide, my guide was extraordinary friendly and super cool. I when during the rainy season still got to see tons of wildlife. You got options for lunch and it was delicious. They have hot showers and soap back at the meet up spot. Gear worked perfectly, would totally go again.

5.00We had a great time at Ocean Lounge with Toshi. The views from our base were great and very relaxing. We saw a lot of cool things and experienced some great dive sites. Toshi helped us a ton with our gear and provided tea between each dive which was very refreshing. Had a blast and would do it again.

5.00This is a must do if you're in Motobu! First, the pickup plus drop off made transportation convenient and you're provided with everything you'd need to have an enjoyable experience. Hot tea on the boat, a cozy windbreaker between dives, a towel poncho for the drive back, and then a hot shower at the end are just some of the little things that the team has all planned out to ensure you have the most comfortable experience. Everyone was warm and accommodating and I felt so welcome and happy to be there. Lunch was a filling sandwich and potato wedges from a local shop with hand-drawn marine animals and a note saying "good diving!" on the box ❤️ These were my first dives outside of my certification and I really spoiled myself choosing to do them in Okinawa. Visibility was perfect and swimming through the coral reefs was incredible. We saw a multitude of fish, a mantis shrimp, octopodes, sea snakes, eels, and could hear some whale song in the distance. I went during the winter so we used 5mm wetsuits, but I'm a California diver so the slight chill and light surge didn't bother me much. Toshi is an amazing dive guide with an abundance of experience and passion for diving, took amazing photos, and was such a calming presence. As a fellow Californian, we had great conversations about back home and it was so nice to speak in English for a bit. Our day ended at 3pm and that was enough time to also visit the Churaumi Aquarium which was the perfect cherry-on-top. I highly recommend the Ocean Lounge team and I would love to return one day! I have no notes, everything was perfect!

5.00Had such a great time diving! Our divemaster was incredibly helpful, friendly and made us feel comfy from the start. The water was crystal clear, and we saw so many colorful fish and coral — absolutely stunning. The dive was super chill, and he made sure we were all having fun and feeling safe underwater. Really amazing experience and hospitality — absolutely would dive with him again!

5.00I had the best time diving in Okinawa thanks to Toshi! He’s super friendly, personable, and an all around cool guy to dive with. Every dive spot we went to was incredible, some of the most beautiful I’ve seen and together with Toshi’s guidance, these ended up being my favorite dives so far. I was a little nervous since it had been a while since my last dive, but Toshi made me feel totally at ease. He was patient, reassuring, and was always there when I needed help. You can tell he really pays attention to the details and genuinely cares about giving people the best experience possible. Highly recommend diving with him if you’re in Okinawa!

5.00Ocean lounge was a beautiful home for us to relax and prep for our dive as well as wash up after our dive. Tastu made us feel welcome and even made us freshly brewed coffee and tea. We managed 2 boat dives and had to cancel the 3 rd dive due to the heavy rain and winds. We also had to miss out lunch due to the weather and the restaurants being packed. Apart from the uncontrollable weather situation, tastu made sure our dive was enjoyable and took photos for us underwater. Thank you for the great diving experience in Motobu!
