Experience the rush of Alaska whitewater! Get ready for an adrenaline-packed adventure as you navigate this Class V creek, running through three consecutive canyons. Each canyon offers increasingly beautiful and challenging terrain, with narrow passages, steep drops, crashing waves, and deep, stunning blue pools. Surrounded by lush rainforest walls, this thrilling ride will keep you on the edge of your seat! The creek cuts through the breathtaking Chugach National Forest before flowing into the Pacific Ocean at Turnagain Arm, just a short distance from the charming town of Hope. Located only two hours south of Anchorage off the Seward Highway, this tour combines exhilarating rapids with the serene beauty of a semi-rainforest gorge—truly a picture-perfect river trip. Both our 2-canyon and 3-canyon rafting trips include a mandatory (yet fun) in-river swim test before launching. This ensures everyone’s comfort and safety in the water, allowing participants to practice self-rescue techniques and assess swimming abilities before hitting the rapids.

At the water level we had it was very athletic and exciting. The entire staff was very helpful and extremely concerned about our safety. Our guide, Will, explained everything carefully and was always aware of how we were doing. He also provided an interesting commentary during the trip. The bus driver/photographer, Rich, was also helpful and quite good at patching me up after a rather bloody incident. Although I quit after the first canyon because of the accident, nobody's fault, I'd do the remaining canyon if I ever have the opportunity. Once, again, it's a wonderful experience and all of the staff were marvelous.
