A guide will warmly welcome you and collect you at Katima Mulilo Airport at 6:30 a.m. for your transfer to Namushasha River Lodge on Kwando River.

Settle in and unpack, getting acquainted with your surroundings. Take a walk and become familiar with all the amenities Namushasha River lodge offers.

Once settled in, embark on a complimentary boat cruise along the serene Kwando River, 1.5 hours before sunset. Light snacks and beverages will be served during your journey.

Dinner can be enjoyed at the lodge restaurant, after your boat cruise. Soak up your surroundings and relax after you're well fed and prepare for an exciting day ahead.

After a hearty breakfast get ready for a full day of fishing adventures. Set your sights on your preferred catch and get ready to explore Kwando River.

Kwando Core Area

Embark on an exciting full day of exploration of Kwando River. All fishing is conducted on a catch-and-release basis, ensuring the sustainability of the environment. Please note that any lost or damaged fishing equipment must be replaced at the guest's expense, and drinks are at your own cost.

Due to the nature of the heat, you can enjoy a lunch break (at your own expense) anytime between 12:00 pm - 3 pm.

After all the fishing excitment, enjoy a complimentary sunset cruise, 1.5 hours before sunset. If you're feeling peckish, there will be light snacks and beverages served on the boat.

Before you settle in for the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge restaurant. Then, let the sounds of the river soothe you into a peaceful night's sleep.

Once again, you'll start your day with a scrumptious breakfast energizing you for the day's excitement.

Today you have an opportunity to indulge in a full day of fishing again or you take a break in between to explore the alternate activities that Namushasha River Lodge has to offer. Opt for a game drive to witness the amazing wildlife Kwando River is home to. Or perhaps visit the cultural heritage centre to learn more about the traditions of the natives.

If you choose to engage in other activities throughout the day, lunch will remain at 12:00 pm - 3 pm.

The sunset cruise is complimentary and optional. You can also decide to kick back, relax, and enjoy the serenity of the evening from your lodge or a nearby fireplace. Order beverages from the restaurant bar and enjoy your peaceful surroundings.

The lodge restaurant will serve a delicious dinner. As you reflect at the dinner table, enjoy your final evening in the serene surroundings. Get cozy and rest up for your impending departure.

On your final morning enjoy a delicious breakfast and soak up the beauty of your surroundings one last time. Let the calming birdsong set the tone for your journey ahead.
