What To Expect
Your accredited guide and naturalist will meet you at the departure location. We will then travel throughout the Discovery Islands, Tidal Rapids and Coast Mountain fjords looking for any number of Humpback Whales, Orca Whales, Black Bears, Pacific white-sided dolphins, Dall’s Porpoise, Stellar Sea Lions, Harbour Seals, Marine Birds, and Bald Eagles. Every tour is different and what wildlife we see on tours varies depending on the seasonal migrations of marine and terrestrial mammals.

5.00What an amazing experience! Benjamin was a fantastic guide - having grown up on Quadra Island he was a treasure trove of information about the geography, people and wildlife of the area. From riding tidal rapids to watching a Humback lunge feed, this was a once-in-a-lifestyle experience.

5.00Jen , our guide was fantastic. 4 hours of pure fun as we revelled the beauty of the local marine area. Found several Biggs transient killer whales for a very memorable experience on what was an unforgettable marine adventure. Highly recommend

5.00I cannot explain in words the magic of our boat trip with Reuben. We were visiting Canada from the UK and were lucky to spend a weekend on Vancouver Island, with whale watching top of our list. The level of care and knowledge Reuben showed throughout and the dedication to protecting the wildlife but giving us an opportunity to enjoy the animals was incredible. A once in a lifetime kind of a day and we would wholeheartedly recommend. We will remember our day together forever, such a magic experience

5.00Our family had a perfect day of whale watching. Our guide Reuben was fantastic. He is a skilled captain and shared his immense knowledge of the area and wildlife. We were thrilled to see an abundance of whales throughout our tour. It was an adventure that we won't soon forget. We highly recommend Wild Waterways Adventures!

5.00We were a group of seven, three generations and we all had a fantastic time - the youngest was four. We saw humpback whales, sea lions, harbour seals, eagles, and the beauty of the surroundings. Jen is highly knowledgeable about the wild animals and the territory making it highly informative for all of us. It was a windy day with some big waves which made it exhilirating, yet we felt very safe with Jen at the helm of the boat. As soon as we docked, the kids begged to go out again very soon 😁

5.00Even the weather was not very good we had a fantastic time on the water seeing whales, dolphins and eagles. And the Zodiac is not very big so it is very familiar. I took a huge amount of photos so I will deal a long time with this trip. Thank you very much for all the impressions.
