The Sunwapta River is the only Class III white water offered in Jasper National Park. The river is glacial fed and is great for first time rafters if you are looking to paddle hard, get soaked, and have a lot of fun! The river trip itself begins with a float where crews can practice their paddling technique before the show begins. Once the rapids start ,they just build and build until The Whopper soaks everyone just before the take out. All trips are in 6 person-guided rafts and all the necessary equipment is provided.

Late and No Show Policy - Please double check the date, time and pick up location. on your confirmation. The pick up location for this trip is 40 minutes south of the Jasper townsite. Out of respect for other guests, we ask that all participants arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time. Please note the pick up time for your location. There will be no refund provided if you arrive after departure time or do not show for the date and time of your scheduled trip.

You will join a certified interpretive and river guide and paddle through Jasper National Park's largest white water.You will takeout a few hundred meters above the famous Sunwapta Falls.

5.00What an amazing adventure this was! Pick up in RV lot was easy (our bus even waited 20 mins due to a late arrival which was very kind). Our guide was Cash who was super enthusiastic, encouraging and very skilled on the rapids. We all had such a laugh! Would 100% recommend!

5.00Did the Sunwapta trip with my teenager and we both had a fantastic time. We chose the bus option from Jasper rather than driving and it added the opportunity to meet other rafters from around the world. Before entering the river, the staff outfitted everyone with wetsuits and provided basic training with necessary safety info. If you've canoed or kayaked on a river, you'll be familiar with most of this. Once on the river, there's a length of fairly calm water where everyone can practice working together. Then you're on to the best part, the rapids. Jordan, or one of the other guides, expertly take you through the rapids where you'll help paddle and get quite wet along the way. The water is cold but who cares! It's a few hours you won't soon forget and you'll definitely want to go back and do it again.

5.00My14 year old son and I went on this Awesome Adventure ! The Crew that took us were Top Notch and made this Experience the Best it could be for ALL of Us, Especially for my Sons 1st time❤️ Knowledgeable, Kind, Organized, and their sense of Ha Ha ….Hilarious 😆. 5.00Had the most amazing experience with Jasper Rafting Adventures. It was my first time doing this and I was really nervous. The team - Annaja, Luke, Jimmy and Andre made me feel at ease. They showed us all about the safety features and ensured us that we’d have fun. I had Annaja as our rafter and she was great! Really passionate and knowledgeable about rafting, great sense of humour and fun to be around. She made sure we felt at ease, we were safe and we had an amazing time. Thanks so much ♥️

5.00We took the 0945 session, the pick up point wasn't very clear but we found it after a while. Our guide was Jimmy, he was great, he answered any questions we had about rafting, the river and about the local area. My daughter has a couple of medical conditions which means we need access to medicine at all times, he kept this safe for us during the rafting and was really accommodating to ours needs. I would definitely recommend this excursion in Jasper and this rafting company. Thanks Jimmy and team
