What makes this experience special is its authenticity. You will not visit a restaurant, but you will enter a real Sicilian house, experiencing the traditions, flavors and hospitality of a real local family.
You will taste a selection of wines linked to the history of the territory, including the prestigious labels of Tenuta Campo Re and our family reserve, along with two excellent extra virgin olive oils produced on Mount Etna.
Lunch will be prepared with organic and seasonal ingredients largely from our garden, following recipes handed down from generations. Among stories, traditions and curiosities about Etna and Sicily, you will live a moment of authentic sharing.
A few minutes from Taormina, away from the crowds, you will discover a genuine Sicily that is rarely encountered on traditional tourist routes.

What To Expect
A few steps from Taormina, we open the doors of our house, a real home where Gae and her family will welcome you as special guests, sharing with you the true warmth of an authentic Sicilian home. Let yourself be guided on a sensory journey through four excellent wines. You will taste the prestigious labels of the historic Tenuta Campo Re, vineyards once loved by King Vittorio Emanuele II, along with our family reserve, produced according to ancient traditions that tell the most authentic character of Etna. A full four-course lunch is served at the table, prepared with organic ingredients collected from our garden. Each recipe preserves the flavors of family tradition prepared with recipes handed down from generations. Between a glass and a conversation, you will discover stories, curiosities and legends of Etna and Sicily, through the stories of those who live this land every day. An intimate and genuine experience, made of encounters, flavors and traditions. 5.00We booked a private cooking class with Sicilian Soul Experience to celebrate one of my employee’s birthday, and it turned out to be one of the best team experiences ever. Under the warm guidance of Miss Angela and her incredibly friendly son Gaetano, we learned to make fresh pasta, authentic parmigiana, and a heavenly tiramisù. We laughed nonstop, toasted together, and discovered beautiful Sicilian stories and traditions. It felt like being welcomed into a real Sicilian family. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to create special memories!

5.00My experience was like discovering a secret. I felt the emotion of being in a true sicilian home where beetwen, wine glasses, true receipts shared between generations in a very cosy environment. We had dinner with Angela, Tano and their staff as a true family. Truly reccomended

5.00This experience was the highlight of our 2 week cruise in Europe! The food was out of this world and the hospitality was even better! Angela and her whole family overwhelmed us with delicious food and wine, and made us feel right at home. We all fell in love with Taormina and want to go back and would definitely want to do this again! Her husband, Salvatore, picked us up from the ship and took us on a tour of the city before we went to their home for one of the best meals ever. Definitely worth paying extra for that added service, it was amazing!!!

5.00We had a truly special experience at Angela’s home. It was an evening dedicated to authentic Sicilian flavors, in a warm and welcoming setting. The traditional dishes were prepared with great care, and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. Each course felt connected to local traditions and the history of the region. The Etna wines we tasted were excellent and perfectly paired with the food. The atmosphere was the highlight: relaxed, genuine and informal. We felt sincerely welcomed throughout the evening. It’s an experience we would happily repeat and definitely recommend to anyone who wants to discover the real Sicily, away from the usual tourist spots.

5.00We made arrangements to have Salvo pick us up at the strain station, which took off the stress of finding a ride to the experience. At the home we were greeted by Angela and their son to their beautiful home. They are a wonderful family that gave us a glimpse of the food that makes Sicily a great place to experience traditional recipes with a modern flair. They welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like were old friends. The Great hospitality and generosity was over the top. They served us a variety of food and each was paired with great wine from the Etna region. You need to go hungry because it’s an overwhelming abundance and variety of food that was shared. This is a must If you are looking for a great experience with amazing food with an equally amazing family.
