Join us on our 90min walking tour as we visit historic locations and lay the groundwork to explore and unpack what happened in Salem in 1692. Shedding light on how a community driven by fear and led by religious ideology and zealotus extremism, executed 20 innocent people. We invite you to be part of our story and Uncover the true history of Salem. -All tour guides are licensed by the City of Salem and are professional storytellers .

What To Expect
Salem Old Town Hall
A historic building in its own rite, as well as a filming location for the classic Halloween movie, Hocus Pocus. A fitting location for the start of the tour. Note: We'll stop at this location, we don't go inside.
John Ward House
Historic location. 330 years ago this is where the house of Sheriff Corwin, the High Sheriff of Essex county stood. In the scope of the trials he acts as the warrant issuer, interrogator, and torturer, amongst others. Note: We'll stop at this location, we don't go inside.

5.00Jeffrey Lilley delivered exactly what one should receive regarding this tragic, short-lived history of the Salem Witch Trials. He was extremely knowledgeable, and offered a facts-based version centered around understanding the localized factional conflict that occurred during this time, and the religious, social, economic, and political factors that played into the social consciousness of the early Puritanical colonists. I highly recommend Jeffrey and Salem Uncovered: The Salem Witch Trials Tour!

5.00Jeffrey provided one of THE most informative tours we’ve had. Instead of making it “spooky and paranormal” he was logical, made the history come alive and provided excellent, practical information that helped make sense of what those Puritan times were like and how the fear and superstition played into the events of that era. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

3.00This tour was just okay for us. I was a little bored to be honest. This tour was about the witch trials which I was very interested in, but the tour guide got off topic way too often and I lost interest very quickly. I felt like he talked more about other things instead of the witch trials and Salem in general. Wasn't worth the money spent. Maybe with another tour guide you may have a different experience.
Experience of a lifetime!! If you are in Salem this is a must!

5.00This is an amazing experience that is informative on so many levels. Jeffrey was our guide and he was a spectacular guide and he not only imparted an enormous amount of lore and knowledge regarding the witch trials but also did an amazing job of leaving us with an emotional investment into the trials and the people involved. Highlight of our visit to Salem. On a side note Jeffrey is an amazing speaker/entertainer so would definitely suggest any other tour that he hosted. Thanks for a blast!
