Akureyri
The tour starts in Akureyri, the capital of North Iceland. We pickup at the port and when all are aboard we start the tour.
Godafoss
Godafoss Waterfall is a very popular destination in North Iceland. Located in Skjálfandafljót glacier river it cascades roughly 12 meters in the gorge below.

5.00This is an excellent trip from the cruise terminal. The guide was informative, fun and the sound system on the bus and his excellent English meant that everyone could hear and understand what he was saying. The excursion was well pace with time at each place to take photos etc. No stress about getting back to the ship on time.

5.00Comfortable coach, beautiful scenery on the way and back, love the lava formation park, hot mud/steam fissures, falls were beautiful, surprise coffee and fried cakes at the falls local hotel as part of tour, my only recommendation is for the tour company to include head netting for the annoying midges at the various sites. If not you can buy this protective covering at the first stop which is the lava formation visitors center for 8 kroner. Our tour guide Michael was terrific.
