What To Expect
An afternoon to discover the wines of Umbria, Montefalco, through two local wineries with a certified sommelier at your disposal Visit of the cellars, tasting their wines and listening to their history directly from the producers. Pick up at your hotel. You will meet your Host and your experience with a private sommelier begins! First stop will be in one of the 2 wineries that the Sommelier selected for you. Wine tasting of 3 different local wines including a sommelier masterclass. s. You will meet the wine producer, visit the cellar and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of Montefalco country-side. The second stop will be a family run Winery. You will taste their great wines and later during the evening you will enjoy a family style homemade dinner that they have prepared for you. After this great night transfer to your hotel and time to say good bye

5.00If you are visiting Assisi Italy and the Umbrian area and are in need of taxi service? Give Lorenzo a call. He is a young, pleasant driver who was so helpful. I used him several times on my most recent trip. And one time was an emergency, he was there in minutes. He is responsible and wonderful to work with. His english is very good too. 5.00Thank you for an amazing day: Alessandro was a fabulous guide, took us to two very unique and very different wineries. The hosts were so generous with their time. We enjoyed the evening VERY much and would recommend to anyone traveling to this area. Oh…and the wine was delicious!

5.00One of the best experiences in Italy. Alessandro was an excellent guide through the two wineries we visited and made the trip so much fun. I would highly recommend this tour if in the Assisi area. Dinner with the owners and the sunset made is so wonderful. We had a great time and did not want the evening to end.

5.00Splendido Tours exceeded our expectations! My friend and I asked for recommendations for a 3 day pre-trip before joining a tour in Amalfi provided by Cultural Discovery Vacations. Our goal was to experience the people, wine and food of Umbria. Daniele arranged accommodations in Foligno and two tours. Everything was excellent. We had a wonderful tour guide in Assisi who was extremely knowledgeable and personable. The next day he arranged two winery tours in Montefalco including dinner at one of the wineries. Our guide and the tour were outstanding. Daniele helped us every step of the way; providing excellent information about the location, transportation and dining. I can wholeheartedly recommend Splendido Tours.
