Meet your guide in downtown Juneau where you receive you will get checked in. There will be a quick introduction to the tour before you load up and head out on your adventure.

You will drive through lush and green forested roads on your way to a view of the Mendenhall Glacier.

5.00This tour exceeded my expectations. Cindee was personable and knowledgeable. The weather was incredible and made for an awesome walk. The mindfulness portion on the beach was so calming. The dinner was fantastic. (smoked salmon soup and field greens with cranberries, feta cheese and a vinaigrette with a blueberry mojito). This is a perfect tour for folks on cruise ships. We finished up around 4pm. It’s rare that I want to hug a tour guide at the end of a tour - but I left feeling that I had made a friend. Thanks so much!

5.00The tour was amazing. The rainforest is an amazing place and Cindee is very knowledgeable about the plants an the wildlife. The beach she guided us to was magical with a beautiful view. The ideal place to ground yourself, be connected with nature, calm down, relax and breathe. Back in town, she treated us to a lovely lunch in the Crystal, where Ivan, the chef prepared a wonderful vegan dish just for us. We totally recommend this experience.

5.00As a local I am always looking for unique experiences to share with family and friends when they visit Juneau. The Mindfulness in the Wilderness tour at Breathe Alaska offers a truly SE Alaskan experience that allows you to truly slow down and enjoy the natural world around you. The hike to the beach through the Tongass National Forest ends in breathtaking beach views with islands and mountains dotting the background; allowing you to immerse yourself in the moment. On my trip with Cindee we were even lucky enough to hear a bald eagle as we settled into our chairs. The natural beauty is the perfect backdrop for the guided meditation and breath work. Breathe Alaska provides an opportunity to disconnect with the outside world and reconnect with the self. The breathing technique was easy and felt natural. Cindee’s coaching allows you to connect with your breath in such a way that you are able to use the technique when you need it most…when you return to your busy life. If you are looking for a way to connect or relax Breathe Alaska’s Mindfulness in the Wildness tour has it all from the guided mediations, the sights and sounds on the beach to the dinner menu few other tours offer such an authentic SE Alaskan experience.
