Praia Dona Ana
You will get a sea perspective from one of the most popular beaches of Lagos. Don't forget to make a photograph! Praia Dona Ana is in the area known as Costa D 'Oiro, name due to the yellow/golden color of the rocks that surround this beach and which is the largest among the several beaches of unique beauty, protected from the wind and calm and clear waters, located between the city port to the Ponta da Piedade lighthouse. The proximity of Lagos makes it popular in the summer. The rocks on the beach provide shade for visitors. The sea is calm and bathers usually swim to the base of the cliffs and sharp rocks that emerge from the water. History: The beach was named after the nun Ana, who lived in the nunnery of Lagos. During World War I, soldiers invaded the convent and murdered all the nuns, with the exception of D. Ana, who had access to a tunnel between the convent and the beach. D. Ana fled through the tunnel and was the only one who survived.
Praia do Camilo
Praia do Camilo is the most beautiful beach in the municipality of Lagos and is accessed through a wooden staircase. The cliff that borders the beach offers a fabulous panoramic view of the coastline between Lagos and Albufeira. This beach is divided by a huge rock formation that you can walk through an excavated tunnel, where you can see a large number of shells embedded in the rock. Take your time and enjoy the sea view of the most beautiful beach of Lagos and perhaps the of the world! Oh, and don't forget to make a photo!

Captain Rui, was very warm and friendly, his boat was very comfortable with padded seats and clean. He answered all our questions during the tour. He drove the boat at a nice gentle pace and the tour felt very relaxing and he took us inside all the beautiful caves. Thank you Rui for a memorable and beautiful experience!!

He is a magnificent guide, the only Portuguese one; all the others are English and have nothing to do with it. He knows all the secrets of the area, and his handling of the boat is impressive. A true professional.

What a wonderful trip this was. I chose this particular tour because of recommendations I read and also because the owner was local. What I didn’t know was that his father also did this kind of guiding! Rui (our captain/owner) met us at the dock. As I waited for our tour, I watched about 2-3 other tours go with a lot of people in them. I was very pleased when Rui came and I believe we had 8 people total on our tour boat. His mate took care of the life vests for us and we could then sit wherever we wanted in the boat. Rui assured us that the wind was coming from the land and so we would not have a rough outing. Very reassuring. He told us what we were seeing in both English and Spanish so everyone could understand and pointed out all the sights along the way, adding some interesting asides also. The area itself is amazing. Between the color of water and the cliffs, it is dazzling. We went in and out of grottos, and had plenty of time for photos and though there are a lot of boats in the area, it felt open. There were many people in kayaks, and we would wait our turn to go into the grotto or area. We could get photos without another boat in the photo. He pointed out all the sights and made sure we saw them. His handling of the boat was masterful. There were times we were almost touching the rocks! I would absolutely recommend this particular tour group to anyone coming to Lagos. He doesn’t have a kiosk on the main drag or an office on the wharf, like many of the other tours. You book online, this is his personal business, which is why I didn’t feel he was on a deadline, which was nice. This is a testament to having a local dedicated tour guide/owner manage the trip.

Very good moment; Pedro takes the time to explain to us in French, thank you very much. The caves are magnificent, and Pedro perfectly controls his boat; he took us through narrow places, and it is worth the detour. We recommend it 100%. Thank you

Highly recommend!!! Booking was easy and flexible. I had to change my date and they were very accomodating. The water was very rough the day we went. The operator told us about it ahead of time so we could cancel if we wanted, but we went anyway. He is an excellent driver and navigated the boat in a way that make me feel very safe. The sights were incredible and his narration was informative and entertaining. I would do this tour again.

The boat tour was conducted by Rui and Helder, two local operators. Rui could speak at least English, German, and of course Portuguese, and he was very entertaining and likable. The tour was very informative, but not overloaded; there were fun facts here and there that made the tour very engaging. Despite some waves, Rui safely steered the boat into the caves and back out again. I can highly recommend the tour, even for families with small children. We had our three-year-old son with us, whom Rui and Helder also engaged with and had fun with. There were accordingly life jackets available for adults and children. Overall, 5 out of 5, much more pleasant and personal than the large providers!

A fantastic boat trip. We got to visit all the caves up close. Our guide was amazing. His boat skills were incredible, as were his language skills. He gave the tour switching seamlessly between three different languages. When I spoke to him afterwards, he said he speaks seven! It was great to be on a local boat with a local guide. I can't recommend this company highly enough.
