Hi there, I'm Naz, your local Almaty foodie guide, the founder of "NonAlmatian" project, where we explore Almaty through the eyes of foreigners.
I'm a traveler myself, and I can't really stand cliche touristic routes.
So together we'll try to hit hidden gems in Golden Square and explore modern Kazakh cuisine.
This tour is all about unique, but delicious taste experience!
We'll have a stop at cute coffee shop that has authentic chocolate with 'kurt', that you won't find in any other market or coffee shop.
We take you to the spots featured on the New York Times, adding that extra dash of cool to your gastronomy adventure.

5.00What a great introduction to Kazakh food. I don't want to give anything away but Naz selected a great assortment of traditional foods and a few modern spots for us as well. The food was all really great and she gave us a great view on Kazakh culture and gastronomy.
Great tour. Will engage her again when I am back, to see more of Alamty....

5.00Naz gave a very comprehensive tour of Almaty artistic area. Very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the places that we walked by. Food was great introduction. Highly recommended!!!
