A historic winery in the city: from sharecropping to the circular economy. The story of the history of the farm born a century ago unfolds between the new cellar, the vat cellar, the vinsantaia and the old cellar. The knowledge of our organic wines produced as in the past comes from tradition. And from the ancient habit of "not throwing anything away" we have learned that products with unexpected qualities can be obtained from what was considered waste material. Tasting is the moment in which the palate recognizes the flavor of the stories heard. In each environment a different glass, a different story, you will find the objects and tools of the past, we will explain how we have changed the intended use of some or how we have kept the ancient characteristics of others unchanged. You will touch the processing waste first-hand and taste the exclusive products that derive from them. You will discover the techniques and patient phases of our work, the passion lavished on our wine while you are tasting it. You will be very curious, just cross the large green door of our farm!

Fabulous experience! Valentina was an excellent guide, she thoroughly explained the entire wine-making process and the various procedures. The tasting was very pleasant, the wines were excellent and were served with good food, which allowed us to fully enjoy the flavor of the wines. The place is also easily reachable by public transport, just a few minutes from the center of Arezzo. Highly recommended!

The wine tasting with Marco (4th generation) was very engaging and informative. The wines were excellent, and there was the opportunity to compare and taste different vintages. Along with that, Tuscan sausage and cheese specialties, bread, and olive oil were served. To conclude, there was a Vin Santo with Cantuccini. One of the top 10 experiences of my life.

What a beautiful place and what an interesting experience. The wines were exquisite and paired beautifully with the typical Tuscan meats and cheeses. Special thanks to Valentina, who was a true expert on the vineyard's operations (and so sweet to our little daughter!). / What a beautiful place and what an interesting experience. The wines were exquisite and paired well with the meats and cheeses typical of Tuscany. We thank Valentina, who was a true expert on the operation of the farm (and really kind to our little daughter!).

A unique experience at Marco and Simone who explain to you patiently and in your language, the history of the estate, the production of the different “nectars” (always one eye on tradition and the other open to the future): how not to believe in friends? Thank you both for your kindness, your welcome and the quality of your products, fruits of your passion! Sylvie and Georges

Last weekend I and some friends visited Fattoria di San Leo, in Arezzo, to discover this amazing place and live a very special tasting experience. I can only express myself in an absolutely positive way about this project, which the family has been able to relaunch with passion and consistency in recent years. Carlo and Valentina welcomed us with great warmth, accompanying us on a journey between past and present of their cellar. They enthusiastically told us how wine was produced “once” and how today, thanks to the care and attention to every detail, they are able to obtain products of the highest quality. After the visit to the winery, we participated in the wine tasting, accompanied by Tuscan bread with oil, cold cuts and local cheeses: a perfect match to enhance the flavors of the territory. It was an experience that I recommend to anyone who wants to live an authentic moment, in a beautiful place, surrounded by genuine and passionate people. If you have the opportunity, take a moment to visit the Fattoria di San Leo: it is really worth it!

Very helpful and welcoming from the time of booking. The winery is just outside the city, very convenient to reach. Upon arrival Simone welcomed us, at the same time young and experienced. And above all passionate, fully involved in the family business, of which he told us about the past, the present and also future projects. Also interesting is the processing of the grapes used to produce oil. At the end of the visit tasting worthy of note, with cold cuts and cheeses to accompany the selection of oil and wines. We especially enjoyed the vin santo, so good that it is almost a shame to contaminate it with the crumbs of the cantucci!
