During your Island Cooking Experience, you will: • Arrive to a warm welcome drink and settle into my cozy tropical backyard. • Watch and learn as I demonstrate authentic Jamaican cooking techniques using fresh, island-inspired ingredients. • Enjoy interactive moments, where you can ask questions, taste ingredients, and participate lightly (no heavy cooking required unless you want to). • Sit down to a beautifully plated meal served family-style or in courses. • Experience authentic island flavors—spices, herbs, sauces, and stories behind each dish. • Relax in my rustic garden patio surrounded by fresh herbs and lush tropical greenery. Take photos, sip your drinks, and enjoy the ambiance while listening to vintage reggae music. • Connect with others at the shared dining table for a warm, intimate supper-club vibe. • End the evening with a happy belly, great memories and new recipes or tips to take home.

5.00Leila was an amazing host! We loved the experience of the private setting. She is a very warm and professional host. She treated us like guests in her home as you would treat your friends and family. She shared so many Stories of Jamaica which was great. The food was absolutely amazing and we were so full before leaving. With us being foodies and cooks ourselves We still learned so much from her! We will definitely be back again when we visit Fort Lauderdale, which we do every year or two. This is a definite MUST do when visiting!

5.00Best cooking experience I have had. A lot better than going to a restaurant. Everything is fresh and prepared in front of you. This was a great Mothers day experience for my mum. We are vegan and everything was done to our dietary needs. I highly recommend and we will be back again. Also great value for money.

5.00Amazing host and chef!! This was my second experience with Lela. The first time myself and a few friends experienced cooking dinner with her a s she shared her great recipes. I told her if I ever came back I would bring my family. This time we had brunch and we were all satisfied. You will not regret it!!

5.00DONT WALK RUN TO THIS!!! Lela’s is always a great time and I leave absolutely full and satisfied! The first time I found her during a solo trip & said I have to return and share this beautiful experience with my loved ones. This time I was able to bring a close friend of mine to celebrate me and my sister’s birthday earlier this month at Lela’s. Not only did she embrace me as we are familiar, she made my guests feel extremely welcome, happy and accommodated! She tailors everything to your liking, is very clean and knowledgeable. The experience is very personable which makes you feel right at home. The food was amazing!! We are all already planning to visit Lela during our next trip to FL. THIS EXPERIENCE IS A MUST! BOOOK NOW
