How much walking is included? This tour includes a walking distance of approximately 2 km (about 1.2 miles). The walk is at a relaxed, easy pace with plenty of stops for photos, stories, and breaks. María was wonderful and the food choices were varied and unique and delicious!. (Not the typical wiener Schnitzel, etc). Beer and wine were also included at some of the tastings. We also appreciated the overview of the metro system and different neighborhoods and thhe additional list of places to visit since it was our first day in Vienna!

Our family had an amazing time on this tour, where we ate amazing food AND learned about Vienna and its culture. We used multiple forms of transportation, so we all felt more confident navigating the city later. And our kids not only tried the food, but discovered things they loved!

Our guide Maria was exellent. This is a must if it is your first time in Vienna. She took us around the city on buses, trams, and underground to experience the city and taste different foods. This should be your first activity in a new city. However the meeting point instruction can be more specific and cleaer (e.g. in front of coffee shop, look for a red coat, etc.)

Magdalena makes an excellent food tour host . The pacing of the experience as well as the pairing of the different food made each tasting memorable . We were given the option to walk between different tasting places which helped immensely in eating many foods . She also adapted many choices based on our own input . Being a native of Vienna and very knowledgeable and familiar with the best authentic foods and places makes her the best food tour guide of Vienna .

Fun! Very worthwhile. I recommend early in your trip to get a good lay of the land and become familiar with the public transportation system. I did solo trip and quickly bonded with my group and tour leader. Cristoph was a wealth of knowledge and so much fun. Don't miss out!

This was an absolutely phenomenal tour. It got us away from the central tourist areas, and into the more local neighborhoods. Our tour guide, Christoph, was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, fun, humorous, efficient; I can’t say enough. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone. PS, the food was awesome. Oh, and don’t make dinner plans. You won’t have room for it.
