What To Expect
We stop at the Tullyies Standing Stones for a photo stop.
Culross
We continue onwards to the Royal Burgh of Culross. This picturesque village is a textbook example of a 17th century village in Scotland. You might recognise the village from Outlander, as it feature as Claire’s herb garden, and the Mercat Cross in the show’s Cranesmuir Village.

4.00You get to see lots of filming locations from Outlander. They are interesting historically, too. Our guide, Jillian, was great. Only small disappointment was the standing stones are not from the show and you can't go touch them. Really enjoyed seeing more of Scotland.

4.00Overall, we enjoyed the Outlander Tour and the locations we visited were well worth seeing. Our guide and bus driver Freddy was very friendly and helpful. However, he did not seem particularly knowledgeable about the Outlander series, which was a little disappointing for a themed tour. In addition, the tour started about 20 minutes late. On the positive side, when asked, he was able to provide useful recommendations for good restaurants and places to eat at the various stops. However, this information could be shared proactively with all participants, as it would enhance the overall experience. Overall, it was still an enjoyable tour with some room for improvement.

5.00Great tour! They curated a day that truly maximized our time and included an impressive number of sites. The tour matched the listing accurately, and communication from the tour operator was excellent throughout. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about both Outlander and Scottish history, which added so much depth and context to the experience. If you’re an Outlander fan, this tour is absolutely worth the investment.
