What To Expect
This Paragliding Ohrid adventure starts by picking you up from your hotel or apartment in Ohrid or we can meet at Cuba Libre beach-bar, then you will be transported with the jeep to the take-off place. The transportation is adventure by itself, very similar to off-road experience to the mountains. At the take-off, after a ten minute briefing our professional tandem pilot will take you into the air for a flight that lasts from 10 – 15 minutes depending on flying conditions. The passenger (you) and the flight instructor each have their own comfortable harness. You are then connected together and finally connected to the glider. Once in the air your flight instructor will explain to you what he is doing and how paragliders fly. If conditions permit, you may be offered hands on control of the glider. The landing place is at Cuba Libre Beach, where after landing you can see the photos or video from the flight and share your impressions.

Duration: 15 minutes: Average flight time (in the air) is about 15 mins Flying from 1340m: The take-off place is on Galichica Mountain at around 1300 meters above sea level. The landing place is at Cuba Libre Beach Pickup included

Duration: 20 minutes: Average flight time in the air is about 20 mins Flying from 1700 meters: The take-off place is on Galichica Mountain at around 1700 meters above sea level. The landing place is at Trpeica village Pickup included

5.00Five stars — and honestly we'd give more if the system allowed it. This was our very first paragliding flight, and the two Sashas made it unforgettable. Both are clearly highly experienced, calm and professional, and they made us feel completely safe from the very first moment to the landing. That trust matters enormously when you're stepping off a mountain for the first time. The flight over Jablanica Mountain and Lake Ohrid was simply magic — indescribable moments for both of us that we'll carry with us for a long time. A special thank you also to Karoline for the friendly communication and smooth organisation in the run-up. Everything was perfectly arranged. If you're in Ohrid and thinking about it: do it. You're in the best possible hands. Thank you so much!

5.00What a pleasure to have shared this outing for 10 pilots from the NVL club, supervised in North Macedonia by our local guides from Vertigo: Karolina, Sacha, Goran, and the most French of them, Alek. A dedicated team, always attentive, with flawless organization, guiding us to the sites best suited to the current weather. And then, a nearly constant presence from morning to evening, not only to make us fly but also to help us discover the architectural gems of this country, its gastronomy, and its culture. And this atmosphere: friendliness, laughter, constant availability: true professionals (and this is not derogatory) of hospitality to help us discover their country. An enriching experience to repeat as soon as possible (but don't say it too much, the country will be invaded!!!) A warm hello from Normandy to the Vertigo team (as we say in Normandy) and "run, run, run"...

5.00Great stay! A fantastic team that does everything to make the stay perfect. I loved this group stay, during which we were able to enjoy some great flights with very good advice. When flying is not possible, other activities are offered; you never get bored. I recommend it 100%.

5.00This experience was great, the customer services were so helpful and the paragliding pilots very reassuring and ensured I got the best experience possible. This activity is weather dependent so I was very lucky that it could go ahead as planned with a slight time adjustment of an hour on the day. I did have moments of motion sickness but nothing too bad and it was definitely worth it for the views and the feeling of flying over the mountains and lake.
