We design a tailor-made tour of three different wineries at the foot of the Etna Volcano, listening to your tastes and preferences. We put at your disposal a private driver in a luxury car and we choose with you the best accommodations in the area: the starred restaurants and the most fascinating wine resorts surrounded by vineyards.

We listen to your wishes and make them come true: from visits to the most famous cellars, to personalized tastings, with the possibility of tasting the most iconic labels of each producer.

At your request we will choose one of the three cellars for a local lunch, characterized by typical Sicilian appetizers, a main meal chosen between a first or second course followed by a typical dessert and coffee.

What To Expect

Benanti Winery

From your requested pick up we will travel to reach one of the most renowned wineries of Etna. The staff of the Cantina Benanti will accompany you through history, climbing the side of Monte Serra, an ancient eruptive cone planted with vineyards, and touching its centenary vines of Nerello Mascelese and Nerello Cappuccio, and then understanding, in the old and majestic Palmento, the customs, traditions and winemaking techniques of our ancestors. Continue the experience by visiting the historic cellar which houses our collection of oil paintings on canvas - and the Bottaia, the place where our red wines are refined, and then immerse yourself in an in-depth tasting of our labels, accompanied by a selection of flavors of our land.

Azienda Vinicola Barone di Villagrande e Cantine

After the first winery Benanti we will driving on south east side of Etna Volcano to reach the second winery. The Barone di Villagrande winery allows enthusiasts and the curious to visit its vineyards and the historic cellars of Etna. With a local professional from the company you can start a journey to visit the wonderful vineyard enjoying an enchanting view of the Ionian Sea, follow guided tastings and taste the dishes of Etna cuisine paired with our wines. Furthermore, in our restaurant you can taste the flavors of the area. The menu is exquisitely seasonal, followed in detail by our starred chef Accursio Craparo and curated by the hands and energy of our chef Vittorio Caruso. We take the ingredients from our organic garden: vegetables and aromatic herbs. The oil is our extra virgin olive oil from Nocellara dell'Etna. Meats and cheeses come from Etna farms. Chestnut honey is made by bees in our woods.

The transfer organized by Danilo Cassaro Transfer & Excursions has transformed a simple day into a romantic and suggestive experience on the slopes of Etna. After a visit to a beautiful wine cellar in Linguaglossa, where we could taste excellent wines in an intimate and relaxed atmosphere, the journey continued in total comfort to the Il Clan dei Ragazzi facility. Every move has been taken care of in every detail, allowing us to enjoy the moment without any hurry or worry. Once arrived, the experience became even more special thanks to a walk immersed in the woods, among silences, scents and breathtaking natural landscapes, up to the suggestive visit of the Grotta della Neve, a unique and fascinating place. Danilo’s professionalism, discretion and attention made the difference, creating a perfect balance between organization and magic of the moment. A service that I highly recommend to those who want to experience Etna in a romantic, authentic and stress-free way.

We had an excellent driver to three fabulous wineries with tours and fine food. I would recommend this tour for anyone interested in learning and tasting Sicilian wines. The scenery is fabulous and the hospitality wonderful.we visited, Terra Costantino, Benanti and Bella Grande vineyards.

This is the perfect way to explore Mt Etna wineries! Our friendly chauffeur safely got us around in a comfortable Mercedes sprinter van. Danilo from transfer and excursion services was prompt with communication while keeping us informed with hotel pick up and arranged tastings. Wineries were beautiful with friendly and knowledgeable sommeliers. Highly recommend this stress free day of wine tastings.
