What To Expect
Chateau et Remparts de la Cite de Carcassonne
The tour begins at the entrance of the city and then leads us between the walls in the "lices". Then we contemplate the castle and enter the basilica enjoy the magnificent stained glass windows.
Carcassonne Center
The visit takes you through the cobbled streets of the medieval city and its picturesque houses. The walls can be admired from the Lices just like the old Saint Nazaire cathedral.

5.00I highly Recommend Julien.His storytelling and information on the medieval cite of Carcassonne was first rate. He was friendly and created a picture of life in the cite across the centuries of history. We walked at a relaxed pace both outside and inside the castle/fortification walls.This private tour is a must do.

5.00Extremely knowledgeable with solid historical fact about the building of the castle , cathedral and defensive walls. Also excellent detail of the history of the inhabitants and role in history of the empires. Would highly recommend. 2 hours was thorough and enjoyable. The tour was catered to adults.
