La Cinta Muraria - Camminamento di Ronda
The Parapet Walkway is 15 meters above Cittadella’s walls on the historic defensive walkway whose purpose was to defend the town from above in the event of enemy attack. Recent renovation work has made the historic Walkway safe for the public and it is an excellent opportunity to explore the town from a new and attractive historic perspective, a unique walk through history. The visitors’ route is almost two kilometers long and many of the medieval museums and re-enactment rooms in the Captain’s house can be visited en route. Inside the Torre di Malta, moreover, you can visit the almost thirty meter high Belvedere, the Siege Museum and the Civic Archaeological Museum. The view ranges over the countryside around the town including the Euganean Hills, the Berici mountains, the Alpine foothills with the walled towns of Marostica and Asolo and Mt. Grappa.
Museo del Duomo di Cittadella
There is an art gallery, including the grandiose "Supper at Emmaus", a Renaissance masterpiece by Jacopo Bassano. Inside you can find all kinds of artwork as paintings, sculptures and applied arts from different historical periods, starting from the fourteenth century

Wonderful! We did the complete tour under the walls, among other things half in a beautiful park next to the moat, among ducks and geese, and half along the road and then we climbed and walked the entire perimeter of the old city walking on the walkway of patrol which is a complete ring of 360 °. You observe the city cecchi inside and outside you arrive with your eyes up to the mountains. It's really impressive! I recommend going there at the opening, at 9:00, when there is almost no one!

The walls of Citadel and 'spectacular; well preserved and' subject to continuous maintenance.... and you see! The walk along the walkway is fabulous, not so much for what it allows you to see from a unique vantage point but also and above all for what it evokes!

Great opportunity to make the card, long term by the way, so we saw things that maybe we would have missed and we were excited

Entrance only to small dogs in arms.... Then they come up and the dogs paw on their own... So an unnecessary and shameful ban. Thank you Citadel for the Welcoming only country where we found a prohibition to visit the walls and also for a fee.... Bye bye

At 15 meters high, you walk this patrol path enjoying the extraordinary views of the city and the surrounding landscape. On top of the tower of Malta there is also an information board indicating all the mountains that the gaze can reach. This intact elliptical path you absolutely cannot miss!

We made the walk on the round path which is really well passable and very well appointed. This path is 1.5 km and it takes about 20 minutes to go all around. It is very nice to visit the city from this place. We discover the old town and we have very nice views. I really liked it. In addition, from above, you can see from both sides: inside and outside. We also overlook very nice properties perfectly maintained. It’s a different way to discover this place. Parking outside the ramparts.

Cute town whose historic center is surrounded by medieval walls and whose walkway is still open to the public, the route is about 2 km at an average height of 15m (about 1 hour's walk)... I felt like a patrol soldier

The route of about 1km and a half is truly wonderful. If you are lucky enough to go on a clear day you can see the Alps and the whole town. Really nice.

Really useful, this cumulative ticket lasts one year with 10 euros one can visit 5 sites: praetorian palace (partly frescoed) social theater (small favor, you can also go on stage) cathedral museum (with the grandiose “Supper at Emmaus”, a masterpiece dated 1537 by Jacopo Bassano) Walls (for me not suitable for everyone, alternatively you can only see the museum exhibition before the walkway) an oratory Pay attention to opening times and days Go there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
