My family ended up taking this tour on our vacation to Crete, and it absolutely was a highlight! Kostas went above and beyond to give our group the best time. He was very knowledgeable, and the food was excellent and diverse. He was so personable, connecting us to other families in our group so that we could all get to know each other. It made for the perfect evening and environment. Our family will be talking about this for a long time!

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending 4+ hours alone with Kostas on this culinary/history adventure. After arriving at our first stop I realized I left my phone with credit cards and license at the original meeting point. I panicked but Kostas was cool and said 90% we’ll find because the Cretan people are honest. Guess what? We (Kostas) did. After this we had a phenomenal evening filled with great foods, conversation and getting to know one another. These tours are definitely more than just the food and the right host can definitely make an incredible evening. He knows the area very well and even stopped to point out a 60 year old sea turtle in the harbor. How cool is that? What an evening! Recommend 110%.

We had a lovely evening with Kostas on the Chania food tour. He is very personable and knowledgable and passionate about Crete and was a delight to talk with and learn from. We especially liked tasting foods we wouldnt normally get to taste and came home with some delicious goodies. The variety of places we stopped at was perfect for us and we enjoyed everything about the tour from start to finish. Great to experience Chania through the eyes of a local. Thank you for a great night Kostas!

Kostas our guide was cheerful, warm, and engaging. We had delicious eats starting with cheeses and olives, then pastries, then honey/oils/vinegar tastings, followed by good local wine and a variety of tradional Greek meze, and finally flaky buttery baklava.. We learned so much about local culture and foods and got to see a vast part of Chania. More than just food Kostas introduced us to local artisans in the old town and gave us his best insider suggestions for things to buy, the best shops, tavernas, things to do and sights to see. We loved it and highly recommend this tour. Thanks Kostas!

Wow! What a wonderful experience my partner and I had with Kostas. The atmosphere, the scenery and most of all – the food – was incredible. Kostas has a lot of pride in his country and he showed us exactly why. Crete is a beautiful country and Chania is the place to be. We discovered hidden gems and tried the best Greek and Cretan food available. In Greece, so much time and energy is put into making the most delicious dishes. You can certainly get a real insight into this, and discover the recipes passed on for generations. This isn’t just a food tour, it’s a warm welcome to Crete with insightful discussions on the history of Chania. If you’re on the fence about booking, don’t be. You’ll be glad you did!

This was our best food tour between two weeks in Greece and one in Paris! Costas was so fun, knowledgeable, and full of enthusiasm. He kept us on a lively oace and we sampled several food stops, olive oil, and more. He kept our entire family entertained and taught us a lot about food in Crete!

This food tour was a great way to explore Chania. Our guide, Costas (hope that’s how you spell it) was amazing. He was fun, enthusiastic and kept my nieces (8&11) engaged. The tour went from 1800-2230 ish. We stopped at 4-5 places having cheeses, pastries, olive oil, honey, balsamic glazes, wine and dinner at a taverna.
