Madonnina is a traditional Croatian wooden boat build in 1983 and renewed last winter by me and my father with much love. It is a small boat made for groups, friends or couples.
The tour starts in Harbour of Opatija. Each guest becomes a glass of Malvazija, wine from a local winery, which also has its story.
On the way to Volosko, we are stopping on the main sights where the licensed guide/captain gives you the interpretation of what you see.
On the way back we visit the most beautiful views of Opatija from seaside and make a Polaroid photo which you take home as a souvenir from this romatic and fun ride.
Madonnina can take up to 7 persons and its beauty is the private and intimate feeling which she is giving to the guests.

What To Expect
St. Jacob's Church
Here it all started. A picturesque church as the symbol of Opatija and also the oldest building. Here we will make our first stop where you can make some beautiful pictures and Ill tell you how Opatija was developed.
The Angiolina Park - Villa Angiolina
The oldest Villa on Adriatic sea, today the museum of tourism. Magnificent historical site of Opatija which is located in Anngiolina Park. The building is and work of art which has a interesting story behind its name and bulding purpose.

5.00Certainly. For a review on TripAdvisor or Google, I would phrase it like this: This boat trip was one of the most beautiful experiences of my stay. You can immediately tell how much passion this special boat is cared for and operated. The atmosphere on board is wonderfully relaxed – the gentle rocking on the sea, the fresh air, and the beautiful coastal landscape quickly make you forget everyday life. Especially interesting were the stories and information we received during the trip. At the same time, you meet people from different countries and with different life stories, who experience the same journey together for a short time. For me, the trip could have lasted even longer. This quiet time on the water feels like a small break for body and mind. Perhaps longer tours would also be a nice addition to the offerings. And there was also a small nostalgic gift on the boat. 😍 Thank you very much for this special experience – I wholeheartedly recommend the boat trip and would love to come back.

5.00I booked this tour cause I didn't exactly know what places in Opatija to see, and it was worth it. Fee might be big, but you get to experience the boat travel guided by old man who lived in Opatija most of his life for 80 minutes. Atmosphere was great, although you might probably want to ask for a pillow if you don't want back issues. With 7 people max, this trip is best for people who like history and boat travels.

5.00The Sunset Boat Tour was really enjoyable even though it was cloudy so we didn't get to experience the sunset. We found our Tour Guide Vladimir very informative with lots of interesting facts about the area. Along with a glass of local wine which went down very well we thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

5.00Beautiful, charming and majestic Opatija, with its Austro-Hungarian building and beautiful flowers and parks. I met her as a girl with my parents and I fell in love instantly. I'll always be back. This time I took him to my husband and he was fascinated. A sunset stroll along the Lungomare, down the stairs and dive to swim in the place of your choice or sit on a bench looking at the sea are delights that you should not miss.
