As you enter this spectacular example of Gothic Architecture, be astonished to admire the unbelievable amount of artworks that decorate the interior. Then it will be time to reach the highest point of Italy's largest Cathedral. Using a comfortable lift, you will go up to the Duomo Terrace, from where you will have a fantastic 360-degree view of the entire Milan skyline, with its skyscrapers and historic buildings. The Duomo is delightfully adorned with 135 spires and over 3.400 statues, including historical figures, gargoyles, animals, monsters, and dragons, all dominated by the "Madunina," the famous golden statue of the Virgin Mary. Be amazed to hear the history of the construction process and the legend associated with the "Holy Nail", which is believed to come from Jesus' True Cross.

1.00You canceled the day before a guided tour of the Duomo of Milan that we had booked a month in advance. Without any comments and without providing us with an alternative solution We have been clients for a long time, and the lack of support is outrageous; our trip from France was focused on this visit

1.00We were advised repeatedly to arrive 20 mins early, which we made sure to do. The guide was late, made no mention of this, didn’t introduce herself and was rude beyond any conceivable cultural differences. She was warm with Italian people she knew in passing, suggesting she may not actually like tourists and is in the wrong profession. A guest was late rejoining our group in the Duomo and she made a reference to people not being babies and that she told everyone when to return; it turns out he had gotten lost. The group seemed accordingly a bit tense. The entry cost to the Duomo was 1/4 the price of the tour. If I am to pay 4x for an experience, I expect that it would be professional and welcoming. My reviews are almost always positive and my family travels extensively.
