Bike tour of 2 hours, divided equally between bike ride and tasting. Departure at 16.00 and arrival in the cellar at 17.00 (a meeting time is required about 20' before).
Explore the wildest part of the Island of Elba: a 450-hectare estate spread over a vast promontory (Monte Calamita) to the southeast. Enjoy an excursion aboard a top-of-the-range e-mtb, which will allow us to ride dirt roads in greater safety. The FCI (Italian cycling federation) MTB guide will give you insights both before and during the ride. Get excited during the breaks in panoramic points overlooking the sea: you will visit cliffs overlooking the sea, natural lakes and ancient pine forests immersed in the Mediterranean scrub. You will cross one of the highest vineyards on the Island of Elba. After the tour, relax with an aperitif with Tenuta delle Ripalte wines and enjoy a moment of relaxation with wine and snacks, observing the sea from a privileged point of view: the roof of a Design Cellar.

What To Expect
Here, where the green of the Mediterranean maquis fades into the blue of the sea, lies our Tenuta delle Ripalte resort on the Island of Elba, on the Costa dei Gabbiani. Tenuta delle Ripalte is located 9 km from the town of Capoliveri on Monte Calamita, reachable after 4 km of white road, a suggestive route, which prepares you for your arrival in this special place immersed in a dimension of peace that only the most pristine can give.
Monte Calamita
Excursion to Monte Calamita, a toponym attested from the 16th century and which derives from magnetite, the iron ore of which the local mines are rich, is located in the municipality of Capoliveri, in the south-eastern part of the island of Elba. Note: the time taken to reach the location by bike varies between 20 and 30 minutes

5.00Most of our stay on Elba was on the ocean, and getting up into the mountains was amazingly scenic. Doing it on tricked-out fancy mountain bikes with Simone made it even more memorable and adventurous. Views from the wine-testing deck were spectacular
