Wes our guide is an absolute wealth of knowledge. His insights helped us truly appreciate the Pueblo culture and their amazing achievements. Thought this was a great tour and a good value. The park ranger guided tour of the Cliff Palace was the highlight. Jerry and Tina Smidebush

We had a great time exploring the Mesa Verde ruins. Our guide Wes was a powerhouse of information. We love history so to hear everything about the people who lived here and the men who "discovered" this site was a pleasure for us. Wes drove us to the beginning of the tour stopping and pointing out sites the average person might miss. There are other "homes" in the cliffs besides the big Cliff Palace, and he showed them to us from afar (these were dangerous to be close to due to erosion). We had a park ranger as a tour guide. The actual tour involved climbing up and down about 3 large ladders, but it isn't scary, just make sure you are hands-free. I didn't know that I needed a backpack for my water but managed to climb with it. We were driven in an air-conditioned van and given snacks and water. Just a comfortable trip all around!

Wes Leland is a bonafide instructional, inspirational storyteller for all - school age to senior. He intuitively cares for his travelers! You are fortunate to have him as a member of your staff, and we felt grateful he was our guide!!

This was an amazing day at Mesa Verde and our guide Neil was the best, and he even took family pics and sent them to us. Highly recommend seeing the park this way, you get to see all the best sites and a fantastic storyteller included!

Wes was a fantastic guide, more knowledgeable than we could have ever anticipated. Mesa Verde was incredible. Our only concern was that the markup cost of the tour was SO INCREDIBLY MORE than we would have paid had we gone through the NPS and straight to the park ranger tour. Too much of a markup to recommend it to all.

Our guide Aaron and his understudy, Randy, start the tour in Douglas but picked us up in Mancos in a clean, modern van. Both have extensive local knowledge; one is an experienced archeologist with extensive dig experience, and the other is retired from teaching history of the Four Corners region. They shared their knowledge freely and answered all of our questions so our conversations were fascinating. Light snacks and beverages were provided, but you might want to carry something more in your packs. This is a great way to survey Mesa Verde's highlights when you're short on time!

Our tour guide Niel was so informative and engaging- just awesome! He gave us a very thorough tour given our timeframe. We felt like we got a really good impression of the park and had enough time to soak in our surroundings. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!
