Fabulous experience with our guide AJ. So much knowledge especially of bush tucker/flora etc.Suggest DO NOT book this tour via agent 'HeadOut' ...they totally messed up our booking and made an otherwise great day really stressful (wrong pick up) . Please book directly with Billy Tea Safaris, forget the 3rd party agents.

Beautiful rainforest and coastal drive. The specialty ice cream was wonderful as well. James was a fabulous guide- has lived in the area for decades and really knows and loves the Daintree area. He kept us well informed the entire day. Group size was nice, not too big. Plenty of bathroom stops and no strenuous walking. Note the Tripadvisor site says 7 hours but it was 11 hours. Overall we highly recommend.

Never leave negative reviews but want to be clear you should go with another company. The van is overpacked with shocks that need to be worked on making the car ride through windy rounds rough with shoulder to shoulder space on mountain roads. The driver is rude, he refused elderly lady next to me wbo I’m shoulder to shoulder with the opportunity to sit next to him in open seat. The driver 15-minutes late from pickup point, initially ignored me, said I had the wrong day, was about to drive off, and I showed him receipts again—he had my name wrong in his system. He rushed us, made unprofessional comments throughout the tour, and drove crazy. The river cruise tourguide was great, would recommend going with another company.

Me and my partner did the day tour and had an excellent experience. AJ the tour guide was so enthusiastic and was a brilliant host. We learnt so much about the daintree, its wildlife and conservation. The trip itself was very well planned out, with many stops along the way including a river boat cruise where we saw crocodiles, we stopped at a creek for a swim and the lunch was delicious. The ice cream tasting was a lovely end to the day. Couldn’t recommend this tour enough.

A great day trip, which included close-up croc viewing on the boat cruise as well as multiple stops to enjoy the rainforest. Graeme is a good guide, with lots of supplementary information along the way. Lunch was terrific!

This is an excellent full day tour of the Daintree region. The pickup from Billy yea safaris was spot on time from the esplanade. The driver cum tour guide Rohan was very organised , friendly and excellent in his knowledge and commentary . I went on a day that was seeing a bit of rain and still enjoyed so don’t be afraid of a little rain as it’s a rain forest after all. On the river cruise we saw a few crocs including a couple of babies lying on branches. The food from the restaurant for lunch was good, I had a beer for $11 a bit pricy but that’s a personal choice. The water creek to swim at is awesome, crystal clear emerald water. Even if it overcast if u come prepared do take the plunge it’s with it. Overall an amazing and very satisfying time had with great company!!!

Not worth the extra price! Go with another tour company! But Daintree the location is amazing. Billy Tea prices are higher than other operators but promise a small group experience (and several other things that they have changed but they have not updated the tour experience). While the tour is conducted in a “small bus” tour they had 3 lined up in a row so you might as well have been on a huge bus and paid the discount price. Not family friendly. Very long bathroom lines. Don’t believe the tour descriptions listed. They have changed several destinations since a storm they had in April but haven’t changed the descriptions. Also, because the group was so large, over half the time each stop was used up if you had to wait in line for the bathroom. Only bright spot was our knowledgeable guide, but you might as well pay a discount price for a big bus tour because you will be herded through and treated like cattle.
