As the train approaches, vendors quickly retract their awnings and move their goods to make way for the train. It's a thrilling and unusual sight to see a bustling market transform into a clear path for a passing train within seconds.

Mae Klong Railway Market (Hoop Rom Market)
Meet the group and drive 1.5 hour from Bangkok to Maeklong Railway Market is a traditional Thai market selling fresh vegetables, food and fruit in the province of Samut Songkhram, southwest of Bangkok. What makes the market special is that it occupies part of a train line. A few times a day, a train runs directly through the market. A few minutes before the train comes, vendors lower their umbrellas and move some of their produce away from the train tracks.

5.00I was very satisfied that the guide was kind and didn't worry about anything. The best view point on the Mae Klong Railway market was the most satisfying point that was reserved. The floating market was a zero-waiting area, and visitors could enjoy shopping and the view at leisure. I can recommend this tour!
