The Rockpile: A popular, short trail leads to a viewpoint atop a glacial moraine, offering the iconic postcard view of the lake. Activities: Key activities include canoeing, hiking the lakeshore. Timing: The lake is at its most beautiful, reaching maximum depth and color, during mid-to-late summer.
