Your driver and wine tour guide will take you to the best wine experiences at a variety of Tamar Valley cellar doors. We include lunch with wine. Our wine tours are fully inclusive and have repeatedly been awarded excellent reviews on TripAdvisor. We increase wine tasting pleasure by telling the backstory of the region, its vineyards and winemakers. Our group size is usually 8 guests or less with solo travellers and groups welcome. All guests must be at least 18 years of age.

The Tamar Valley
We visit 3 to 4 vineyards and we include Tasmanian produce platter lunch with premium Tamar Valley wine. We provide a roundtrip from your Launceston location and provide commentary about the history and wine region of Tasmania with a focus on the Tamar Valley.

5.00Gillian has excellent knowledge of the history of not just the Launceston area but the history and current state of the wine industry in the area. The wineries welcomed us with enthusiasm and explained their processes in depth. It's obvious Gillian has a very good rapport with the staff at these wineries. Great value lunch, very happy tour.

5.00Gillian was our guide/ driver for the day, such a warm welcoming lady. We were very lucky to have her all to ourselves. We visited some amazing wineries, had a lunch platter at one of the wineries, so delicious. They can also organise delivery to home when you buy wines. Which is great when you're flying and limited to weight in your luggage.

5.00What a brilliant day out! Gillian was a great guide and gave us lots of information about the area. We had an excellent lunch at Rosevears Hotel and had several tastings in boutique wineries. Tastings were generous, up to 7 different wines and we got to taste gin too. The wineries were all so different and had different atmospheres. Finishing off with Hinton Bay in the owners dining room with wallabies outside was a real highlight. It was such a treat to be able to taste wine and gin with gay abandon given that we weren’t driving. It was a real highlight on our Tassie tour and really good value for money. Many thanks, Gillian!

5.00We had a wonderful day touring some very lovley Vinyards/Celler Doors. Gillian our host and driver was great and shared her knoweledge of the area and its growing regions. The tour was very well conducted the Wineries were very hospitable, the Wines were lovley, Food was ample and delicious along with the some very pretty settings to enoy with it. Highly recommended.

Everything about the whole winetasting tour went perfectly from start to finish - tour was very professionally conducted; wineries and wines were great; winery representatives were excellent across the board; and the pub meal options were great. Everything was so well done and it was clear the wineries were hand selected based on their wines and informative/interactive nature. (and we've been on tours in the past that were not, so this is not faint praise after a glass of lovely Tassie Pinot Gris...) Even before the tour Terry had great comms and kept us well informed. Hotel pickup was right on time, MB van was very clean and comfortable, terry was very informative on Tassie generally and Tassie's various wine regions. At most we had 15 mins driving between each winery - and this was an opportunity to learn more from Terry and chat to others (we had 10 on our tour from all over AUS. Lots of fun) There is no pressure to buy wine - but we did buy 15 bottles from across the 4 wineries we visited. For us the sparkling whites, Pinot Gris, Riesling, and Chardonnay were the stand outs - fully aligned to our taste. All the wines were very high quality though the Pinot Noir, Cabernet and Shiraz were a softer more delicate style than we are used to. All up this wine tour was excellent value for money and a great illustration of Tamar valley's great wineries and wine/food people. We will definitely repeat our visit to the tamar valley, and would seek Terry's advice to shape our visit.
