This is a walking tour. We do not go into the homes. We convey chilling ghost stories out side the buildings and residences. 1.5 hours is the duration of this tour.
What To Expect
Lake Mansion
The Lake Mansion in Reno, built in 1877 as a symbol of upper-middle-class affluence, has a haunting legacy tied to its original owner, Myron Lake, who was never allowed to live in the house. The mansion is said to be haunted by Myron’s restless spirit, along with the sorrowful apparition of Jane Lake, creating an eerie atmosphere that reflects the family's tragic history.

5.00The wife and I had a blast during our tour with Paul. We had purchased out tickets the day prior and were surprised but also very fortunate that we were the only two people for that evening's tour. We arrived early and the leisure of starting earlier upon notice that we would be the only two guests for the night. The next hour was filled with rich history, engaging storytelling, and a walk along some of Reno's most historical landmarks. The two of us walked in to the toru expecting a tour of haunted locations but instead were informed of just how much interesting history Reno has to offer. There was never a moment where we got bored nor impatient for the next stop. Had I known there was an extended version of this, the wife and I would have happily booked that tour instead because it was just so interesting and engaging to participate in. It's important to note that the tour does not enter any of the buildings that guests embark on during their experience and also that there is a little bit of walking. Tour Guide Paul noted before our journey that we might possibly encounter ghosts/spirits during the evening, either physically or through images. While they were not guaranteed, the wife and I took some pictures and speculate that we may have gotten a photo of one of the spirits at the Lake Mansion which will be included for observation in this review. This was a 5/5 experience and whenever we're back in Reno, we hope to schedule again!

5.00We had a lot of fun on our ghost tour in downtown Reno. Because our guide Paul is from Reno, we learned a lot about the history of specific buildings, got to use an EVP device at a couple of the properties, and thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
