After checking into our hotel, we immediately set out to meet Chef Robert, who would lead us on a guided food tour of Pike Place Market. This proved to be an ideal way to familiarize ourselves with both the market's layout and the local cuisine. Chef Robert’s expertise shone throughout the experience—he not only explained the origins and significance of each tasting but also offered thoughtful recommendations for dining during our stay in Seattle. The tour efficiently showcased the city’s agricultural abundance and its multicultural culinary influences within a span of approximately 2.5 hours. We sampled dishes from hidden local gems that we might have otherwise overlooked. One of the greatest advantages was being able to bypass the crowds, as Chef Robert guided us as VIP guests directly to curated tastings, ensuring we enjoyed a seamless and memorable introduction to Seattle’s vibrant food scene.

He was super nice as he catered to my 9 year old grandson. I really appreciated his kindness. The food tour was amazing and delicious. We entered back to Mr. Waffles.

Will was our guide. He did an awesome job! Entertaining, engaging and full of info! We went with our kids (all in their 30s) and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would do it again the next time in Seattle!

Seeing Pike Place Market through this tour was a wonderful experience for a first timer. I got to see so many parts of the market and learn about the history and the uniqueness of a lot of the stores. The samples included in the tour were very worth it. Would recommend to anyone wanting to see as much as possible in a short amount of time.

Team Eric! He was a great guide who infused dry humor throughout the tour (much appreciated). It felt as if we received a history lesson of the city through food. We loved having a guide who is on the inside of the food scene and feels as though he has meticulously curated this food tour. We were full by the end and received a taste of popular as well as less known but just as tasty dishes. A must-do when touring Seattle!

Will was outstanding. This tour gives you a great perspective of all the food and drink available around the market. We finished the tour stuffed, so no need to eat beforehand. Our Chef Will was fun and knowledgeable, we would definitely recommend it.

Really good and a great introduction to PikesMarket. Tried some foods I wouldn’t normally try and set us up for return visits to the market.
