We depart from Reykjavík and begin our scenic drive along the South Coast towards Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.
Volcano Eyjafjallajokull
Eyjafjallajökull is one of Iceland’s most famous volcanoes, best known for its 2010 eruption that disrupted air travel across Europe. This glacier-capped stratovolcano offers a striking view, with ice and fire coexisting in one dramatic landscape. Its name comes from the Icelandic words for “island mountain glacier,” perfectly describing its powerful presence.

Sadly, this was our last day in Iceland. The landscape on this trip is STUNNING. Its a loooong drive but so worth it Climate control was a bit wonky & the audio wasn't always clear, but the trip was outstanding!

The destinations were all wonderful. However, our guide, Razma, rarely made eye contact when speaking and never smiled, so I didn’t feel much hospitality during the tour.

The guide Dylan is very skilled at telling the stories and legends of the country as we pass by the relevant places. This greatly enhanced the trip, making it even more interesting. The selected stops for visiting are beautiful; however, the visiting time for each should be better distributed among them.

We had a fantastic time on this tour! We recommend adding the boat tour too for the glacier lagoon, which was a great add on we had the opportunity to purchase during the tour. Gudjon Jes was a great tour guide and was very helpful with lots of interesting info.
