Walter was our guide. He was great! He gave interesting historical information. He took us around Pisa, showing us more than just the tower. Our winery experience I think will be the highlight of our trip! It was at the home of the winemaker/owner. A simple home with spectacular views! Beppe was warm, sweet and a great host as well as a great winemaker. We enjoyed every wine he poured and the food pairings he chose for us. We felt lucky that we found this tour. I can’t recommend enough.

We arrived in Pisa yesterday morning and had a wonderful day. We met Elia at the airport. He took us around Pisa and waited for us to climb the tower. What an experience! AND THEN, we drank the absolute best wines in the Chianti of Pisa. Spectacular reds with 14.5% alcohol. So yummy. The places that we saw were very beautiful - typical Tuscan countryside, just a dream. Today we're on our way to Amalfi. This first stop was the best way to start the trip.
