Enjoy low level flying over the amazing islands of the Buccaneer Archipelago and Cape Leveque before your seaplane lands safely in the calm waters of Talbot Bay. Your tour continues with an exciting cruise through the Horizontal Waterfalls, plus a relaxed island cruise followed by the shark show and swim in our marine viewing platform.

All guests must declare their accurate weight at time of booking to ensure safe loading of our aircraft. All guests will be weighed at the airport and may be refused boarding if their weight is over the declared weight and no refunds will be provided. Due to individual seat limitations on the aircraft, we cannot carry passengers weighing 120 kg or greater.

The boat ride through the Horizontal Falls may not be suitable for women who are more than 26 weeks pregnant. Any women joining our tour whilst in any stage of pregnancy should seek their doctors approval prior to travel.
Please advise any special dietary requirements at the time of booking.
The Horizontal Falls is a natural phenomenon which are influenced by fluctuating tides that vary on a daily basis
Supplier reserves the right to cancel or change any tour due to unforeseen circumstances

Horizontal Falls
After a courtesy bus pick up from your accommodation to board our 14 seat turbo prop jet seaplane.• Fly directly from Broome to the Horizontal Falls. Board our 900hp fast boat, the fastest boat in the Kimberley. Experience an exhilarating thrill ride through the falls with our highly experienced skipper. Now it’s time to sit back and relax as you cruise through the spectacular untouched surrounding bays and creeks Experience the thrill of swimming in our huge croc/shark free cage and feeding our friendly fish. Enjoy a cooked breakfast or Barramundi BBQ lunch on board our luxury vessel as you take in the breathtaking scenery. Have your camera ready as you take off from Talbot Bay, flying low across the Buccaneer Archipelago, Cape Leveque, Lombadina, Beagle Bay, Willie Creek Pearl Farm, Cable Beach and Broome township prior to landing. Our courtesy bus will return you to your accommodation.

5.00This was the highlight of my trip. Broome to Horizontal falls by sea plane. The magical colours of the landscape on the flight, amazing. The river, the bay, the pontoon, lunch then the unbelievable boat ride though the horizontal falls. Bucket list stuff.
Worth doing even during a mid tide.

5.00What an experience!!! Unfortunately our dates meant we went at the end of a neap tide, a first day of the of the mid tide, so a slow water day. In saying that all though the falls weren’t as epic as we would have liked the whole experience was still very much worth it! The scenic flight from Broome took us to Cape Leveque, and the Buccaneer Archipelago before landing at the pontoon. The power boat ride was beautiful…tip don’t take your hat it will fly off! The barramundi lunch was one of the best meals I’d eaten, absolutely delicious and generous portions. Not sure how this compares to the full day other than the pearl tour I could quite see much difference. Our pilot said the full day don’t fly over cape Leveque and have a 2.5hr bus ride back.

5.00This tour was Amazing! I was concerned about the price as it was more than the advertisement which read : from … fare enough. After living through the experience totally worth every penny. From the ground crew, captains, pilots, bus drivers, kitchen and plane maintenance, administration and anyone I may have missed top job! The staff are very knowledgeable and experienced seemed to me from how all things were managed. If any were winging it they did a fantastic job at that! Highly recommend our land here in Australia is b e utiful! Thanks sea plane team for a roaring morning 16th May 2026.

5.00This was a fabulous trip, unlike anything I have done before. We took off in a seaplane from Broome airport and flew up along Cable Beach to Cape Leveque with fantastic views all the way. Then it was low across the Buccaneer Archipelago to land on the water in Talbot Bay and went aboard the pontoon there. We swam in a shark proof cage looking at sharks and fish, had a beautiful barramundi and salad lunch and then onto a power boat to explore the area. It was breathtaking. We had Emily explain the geology and history of the area. We finished riding through the rapids of Horizontal Falls a truely unique formation and experience. We then flew home across King Sound to Broome. The tour was so well organised and staff brilliant. Do it if you are ever here.
