Get into the musical atmosphere of Prague on this guided tour of locations connected to the famous Austrian composer, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Mozart visited Prague on four occasions in the 1780s and 90s, and his works were rapturously received. This tour offers you the unique opportunity to visit locations where Mozart stayed in Prague, and also reveals why Prague's citizens welcomed Mozart so warmly and why his music continues to win Czech hearts today.

We joined a guide who was far too old to take the tour and who was stammering in an incomprehensible French. Instead of talking about Mozart and his ties to Prague, she took us to the old town to tell us anecdotes unrelated to Mozart and forced us into the homes of merchants probably to invite us to consume. This guide had no skills in her trade or knowledge of the subject. We did not visit any of the places planned in the program. The company organizes a flight of tourists. Run away!

This was not a Mozart walking tour. The guide did not know anything about Mozart and could not answer any of our questions about specifics, such as why Mozart preferred Prague over Vienna, when he got married, the inspiration for some of his operas, (etc.) and gave us wrong information numerous times (i.e. – she said the statue in front of The Estate Theatre was of the character of Don Giovanni, when it is, in fact, Il Commendatore.) We tried various times to engage the guide but she gave us one sentence answers, some of which were wrong. Half of the tour involved bringing us to a music museum where she played with instruments while we wandered around the museum completely bored. This was not a Mozart walking tour and should not be advertised as such! We ended up leaving the tour early because of how terrible it was.

Much more about Prague and its history than Mozart. Much walking. Our guide was knowledgable but kept right on moving even though tour members wanted to snap a quick pic. The tour should end somewhere near where it started. She left us across the river and told us which tram to take back. The stop she told us was easily a mile short of where we started. Not good for people who don't know the language or the city.

Our tour guide effectively got us from point to point, but she was not at all knowledgeable about Mozart beyond a few highlights. I was really expecting much, much more. She also was too fond of making somewhat random comments that didn't have much to do with the topic.

Very informed guide who led us around Prague. We caught the tram to get to some locations and very pleasantly afterwards we had coffee and pastries where we were able to chat with other tourists on the tour.

Lovely tour. We were lucky that we were the only people on the tour. We had a wonderful guide, Eva, all to ourselves and we were able to customize the tour to our liking. We especially enjoyed taking the tram and the funicular up to the top of Petrin Hill. Eva was very knowledgeable on Mozart and the city making for a great excursion.

The tour was wonderful. Our tour guide Eva was informative, up beat, and able to answer any question we asked, not only about Mozart but about anything Czech! Amazingly my wife and I were the only two on the tour which lasted 3 full hours and covered the old town, the lesser town, and more.
Eva kept us moving and it was a long walk, but she paced things for our age ( we are in our 60's).
Meeting Eva and taking the tour paws the high point of our Prague trip.
Don't waste time thinking about it... Just do it!

Our Guide (Vladamir) was passionate about his subject and his city. His depth of knowledge was exceptional. He was responsive to our questions and was an excellent host. He facilitated our falling further in love with a wonderful city.

We had a wonderful guide and we were the only two people on the tour. She was very knowledgeable, but I think if you already know about the life of Mozart the tour is a waste of time. Since we were the only two people on this tour, she showed us a few other really interesting things that we wanted to see: John Lennon's memorial wall and the statue of the Infant of Prague and his outfits. The tour guide was an A+. The tour might be okay if you know very little about Mozart and want to learn more.

If you are all musically inclined and enjoy a walking tour, seeing where Mozart lived and what he did on his 4 separate trips to Prague between 1789 and 1791 was excellent. The music museum, located a short walk once you cross the Charles Bridge was superb!
