Adventurers must be at least 5 years old and accompanied by an adult.

Late and No Show Policy: Please double check the date and time on your confirmation. Our primary pick up location is the RV Parking Lot and scheduled departure times are based on this location. We ask that all participants arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time. There will be no refund provided if you arrive after departure time or do not show for the date and time of your scheduled trip.
Wear your bathing suit or t-shirt and shorts under regular clothes. All river gear is provided.

What To Expect
After meeting your guide in the town of Jasper, you'll head 8 km south of town to the put-in point. After suiting up in clean gear and receiving a safety talk, you start heading down the river. The section begins with about a 10-minute float. This allows the paddler time to feel comfortable in the raft, experience the river environment and take in the 360-degree mountain view. After this short float, the grade 2 rapids begin. Grade 2 is big enough to get everyone who wants to get wet, but it is unlikely anyone will go for an unexpected swim. After 4 or 5 sections of rapids, the Miette River joins the Athabasca, highlighting the color difference between a rain and snow fed river and a glacier fed river. The trip ends just around the corner at Old Fort Point. After getting out of your wet gear, it is a 3 km drive back to town. All trips are in 8 person-guided rafts. Rain or shine, this trip is great for ages 5-95.

Easy, short, fun and sweet raft trip

5.00This is a short 45 minutes on class 2 rapids rafting trip. Not high risk for capsizing or anything like that so if you are new to rafting this is a good trip to do. It is close to downtown Jasper so not a long drive to get to the put-in. They supply wet suits and booties so we were not cold at all (we went in late June). Jasper Rafting Adventures also hires male and female guides which apparently is not the case for some of the other white water operators. Our guide Kate guided us down the river in an excellent manner.

4.00Wear a swimsuit to have on under the wet suit they will ask you to put on. More instructions beforehand of what to wear would be helpful as you need to change out in the open. Guides were fun. Good ride for first timers and children.

5.00This is an amazing introduction to white water rafting!! The river is flowing at a pace & there’s some challenges that give plenty of splash but nothing to feel too intimidating! Mollie & Coleman were great fun and made us feel safe but added to the challenges with their sense of adventure. Don’t hesitate to book!

5.00This was such a great expirience. My kids first whitewater adventure (12, 9, &8). it was super low key and not scary at all, but enough splashing and moving water to keep them interested. Wear swimsuits (they give you wetsuits to put on over them), and bring a towel. Molly was our guide and she was WONDERFUL.

5.00Our family of 4 (2 adults, 5yo, 9yo) had a great time. Our guide, Luke, made it a fun experience. We felt safe, but the kids were thrilled by the experience as well. A great starter experience for someone with no experience in a beautiful place!
