You will go on a tour inside the temple that local people call Sri Dalada Maligawa. This is the second important place on your trip that is protected by UNESCO. The temple is very beautiful and was built a long time ago. Inside, it holds a tooth that belonged to the Buddha. To go inside, you must wear clothes that cover your shoulders and knees, and you must take off your shoes. Every year in August, the temple also has a big festival called the Asela Perehera Festival.
