An island tour with Sheena or her brothers around Mahé is a real MUST. You can see how beautiful Mahé is and that the main island of the Seychelles doesn't have to hide from any of the other islands (Praslin & La Digue).
The sights / access points mentioned are options, not all can be seen in 5-6 hours, you can choose what you would like to see or tell us what exactly you would like to see. But no worries, In reality, you will see a lot on the Mahé island tour than we can describe. Culture, country, beaches, people & history.
There is always the possibility on the tour (optional) to buy drinks, have lunch, snacks & takeaways or visit a toilet or make an extra hour/hours with 25 € each hour.
We know the Seychelles, are very flexible with your wishes, are happy to go into everything you want to see and discover. We speak German (not perfect & not always guaranteed), English, French.

What To Expect
Mahe Island
Beautiful & private island tour around Mahé, according to your wishes. Only you or your group/family take part. You decide in advance or on the day of the tour which activity you would like to see / do. We will adapt to this and give you all our insider tips. Please note that all the spots we describe below are just examples on our tour. There is a lot to discover in 5-6 hours, but you still have enough time during the tour to decide where we stop and wait or where we just want to show you and take pictures. Unfortunately we cannot visit all the places mentioned below due to time constraints. 5-6 hours is a long time in the car. You can therefore choose what you want to see and experience. However, if after 5-6 hours you still haven't seen and discovered enough of our beautiful paradise and you still feel energetic, you can extend the Mahé Island Tour at any time for €25 per hour.
Victoria
One of the smallest capital cities in the world. We will pass many sights here and only stop briefly. (if you want to explore Victoria and all the sights on foot, we also offer a special city tour here) https://islandtourseychelles.com/tour/city-tour-victoria/ We will see the Hindu temple, the museum, the Clocktower, the largest and oldest church in the Seychelles, the small marina of Victoria, various sculptures, landmarks of the Seychelles and, for example, the building of the exceptionally beautiful Supreme Court of Seychelles.

An awful experience.

1.00Our tour guide showed up 25 minutes late without communicating with us while we waited. She said “ there was a lot of traffic”. A text or phone call would have been nice… Our first stop- a gas station where she needed to buy gas and complain about the gas prices. Ridiculous. Our guide had no enthusiasm and didn’t appear to like her job. We ended the tour early because it wasn’t enjoyable. We spoke with a couple at our hotel who hired a driver. They had a delightful day, seeing much more than we did and paid a 1/3 of what we did! A very disappointing day.

5.00After a little confusion about the pick up point we started this beautiful tour with Yannick our driver/guide. The van was very confortable, clean and roomy. Yannick was informative, friendly and a good driver. We saw the entire island, beautiful beaches, stunning views, lush nature. We were there on a Sunday, unfortunately some places were closed but Yannick made adjustments to the tour so that we were able to see more of this beautiful island. We highly recommend this company. Just a note: if you visit from a cruise, walk out of the harbour to the entrance to be picked up.

5.00Excellent day. Great sightseeing of beautiful sites. Guide KEVIIN very knowledgeable. Very helpful with some of our limited mobility at 78 Vehicle very comfortable and clean. Don’t be scared off by the price. Well worth the money especially if there for only a day

3.00As a travel consultant I do not recommend this tour unless they can assure that you are getting a certified guide and not a driver. Unfortunately we had a driver that did not know anything about the island’s history, demographics, government and could not answer most of my questions. When I asked about taxes he said they were high! We also had a language barrier. He spoke little English with a heavy accent. He was a very nice man but he was a driver (the owner’s husband) and not a guide. We learned more about the island from our transport to the ship port. Being on the island for a short time this was really disappointing. I will not recommend to my clients.

5.00What a fabulous half day tour of the entire island. Our driver picked us up promptly at the arranged time. Shanna, our driver was full information and willing to take us wherever we wanted to go. She also had a list of wonderful ideas of places to take us as well. Definitely worth booking this trip. You will not be disappointed as you will return back to your hotel with full of knowledge.

4.00Our guide, John, was incredibly kind and drove wonderfully, but his command of English was limited. We loved seeing the many sites, however John was unable to answer many questions or give us much additional information. The Seychelles are gorgeous and we will return!

5.00Kevin is very polite, professional, nice and funny and takes you where you wanna go. Gives a lot of good recomendations, safe driver. He even left us in the last place we wanted to go when time was finished and pick us up later and bring back to the hotel. 100% recomend this tour!
