Change of Guards
After meeting with our tour leader weyou will start today's tour by visiting the Greek Parliement to watch the famous change of guards.This ceremony is performed by the Greek " Evzones" soldiers and it is dedicated to the "Tomb of the unknown soldier". Our host will explain the symbolism of the ceremony and will provide all details about the the Greek Parliament building.
Plaka
Walk around the famous "Plaka area" and pass by the famous "Metropolitan Cathedrall" of Athens. Short stop a the oldest house of Athens which is well restored and ready to give you great photos.

She made everyone in our small group comfortable and we were engaged and interactive. The meal was fantastic and ample. Great conversations in a relaxed atmospheres. 5.00This is a great walking tour! our guide Lily took us to all the important historical sites and through the very popular shopping areas and then finally to the restaurant areas. We saw many churches Roman ruins , we even saw the change of the guards at the parliament building. we all had dinner together. It was a very memorable evening. I’m so very happy I did this walk.

5.00Excellent small group walking tour of central Athens that includes numerous key historical sites. Our guide, Sevi, was very knowledgeable, friendly and had excellent English. Dinner was very enjoyable and we would return for a meal if we had time. It is a lot of walking (especially if you have already done a lot of walking in Athens the same day) - wear good shoes!
