After that, we will move on foot to Kanayama Shrine, where a phallic symbol as a deity is venerated.
This sanctuary is said to bring benefits for the prosperity of the offspring, marital harmony and protection from sexually transmitted diseases.
In addition, the festival held every year on the first Sunday of April is known worldwide as "Kanamara Matsuri" (Festival of the iron phallus).

What To Expect
Kawasaki Daishi Heiken-ji Temple
Walk along the Omotesando of Kawasaki Daishi.I walk looking at the historic Kuzumochi store along the Sando.Then, I walk along Nakamise street, where there are many nice shops.We will visit a Daruma shop, which is said to bring good luck, and a traditional Japanese chopstick shop.If you want to engrave your name in Kanji, I will help you choose the most suitable fonts.At Kawasaki Daishi Temple, I will explain the purification rituals and the correct way to pray.Then, you can try these traditions yourself.In addition, I will also give you explanations about the "Omikuji", the notes of fortune.
