Bayahibe is the meeting point for all participants. From there, we'll board our safari truck and travel to Higüey, the capital of La Altagracia Province, home to around 280,000 residents. In a small group, you'll explore the vibrant local market, discover everyday Dominican life, and visit a traditional cigar factory.
Higuey
Discover the vibrant city of Higüey and its lively local market, the heart of everyday Dominican life. Browse stalls filled with tropical fruits, local spices and traditional products while experiencing the city's authentic atmosphere. You'll also visit a traditional cigar factory to learn more about one of the Dominican Republic's most iconic products.

5.00We had an absolutely amazing experience with this private charter in Punta Cana! Everything exceeded our expectations. The captain was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and made us feel completely at ease the entire time. They took us to some of the most beautiful places, including Catalina Island and Saona Island, where we enjoyed a delicious, authentic home-cooked lunch. Every stop felt like something out of a postcard. We also visited the natural pool, where we saw so many starfish—it was such a unique and unforgettable experience. They provided everything we needed, including drinks and snorkeling equipment. The snorkeling was incredible—everyone got to see the most beautiful, colorful fish up close. What really made the day special, though, was the energy! The crew we had was simply unbelievable. They danced with us, kept the vibe fun and lively, and truly made us feel like family the entire time. 5.00We made 2 excursions with Dominican attitude. That was awesome. The visit to the Dominican hinterland was great. Despite the rain we had a great time. Thank you Marina for your kindness your explanations and for what you showed us. We've learned a lot from you. Thanks also to Winton for the discovery of Santo Domingo even if there also rain was on the appointment 😭 but the discovery was great. I recommend dominican attitude at 200%. 5.00Very nice visit with Christian and Marina. We went to the local Point of Sale then drove to the sugar cane fields. After a little tasting towards the cigar factory. Dominican lunch in the quiet then back home boat on the river.... Our Guide Christian has an incredible knowledge of the island, he answered all our questions. Marina is great too, she is always ready to tell us an anecdote and gladly shares her life with you. In short, we will return to 200% in this agency.

5.00I recommend Marina and her team 1000%. We went on safari with them to discover Dominican life and the island of SAONA. The 2 visits in small groups with good humor, rum, and lots of kindness. We had 2 very good days. We travel a lot and honestly this is one of the best agencies we have seen. You leave with complete confidence and honesty. WELL DONE
