Wat Phra Singh

3.00The tour was different from the listing. There were changes to the long tail boat road ride and/or to the Wat Chai Mongkhon temple, that caused our tour to go out of sequence and consequently (in circles) Hi was our guide. He was knowledgeable and easy to understand, he did his best to make this changes transparent, but we could tell it wasn’t normal. When we arrived at the spot for the boat ride, it was an empty lot under construction. After several phone calls he was able to find the new location that was very nice and the boat ride fun, however, there was no local farm house nor a leisurely stroll around the grounds as described in the listing. There was, however, a very nice cold ice tea drink and delicious ice cream. seeing the sited from the river was enjoyable and educational.

5.00Aro gave an informative, friendly and personalized tour of Chaing Mai. We especially enjoyed the river ride to the farm. Plus, the visit to the temple where he went to school as a novice and monk. The timing was perfect.
