Your private tour to Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon is a majestic tour of Athenian Riviera all the way to its southeast point of Athens. Your first stop is at thermal springs Lake Vouliagmeni, a unique geological phenomenon with coffee and spa facilities. Then, you continue along the sparkling blue waters of Aegean to visit Sounion and the fortified Temple of Poseidon.
Cape Sounion was a significant strategic point in ancient times, controlling the sea passages, as well as the Lavrion peninsula. The temple was constructed between 449/8 to 440 BCE by order of Pericles.
You can complete this extraordinary experience by watching the astounding sunset and have dinner by the sea in one of the fishing taverns.
Later you driver will drop you off at your residence or at the airport.

5.00This was a great trip! Although our licensed tour guide cancelled, our drive gave us a great overview of everything. He was very knowledgeable and very friendly. He took us to a couple of spots that he personally really loved in addition to the regular scheduled stops. The company gave me a refund for the guide so I was very happy with how that was handled. I definitely recommend this one.

5.00Fantastic experience! Apostolis (Tolis) was super chill and let my wife (who's pregnant) and I see all the Cape and Temple of Poseidon at our own pace. He even let us chill at the beach for a bit which was great. The restaurant he took us to was also really good. The stuffed tomatoes, Greek "burger" and wine were all excellent. Highly recommend this tour, and a special thank you to our excellent driver/guide, Tolis. Bravo and efharisto!
